False color imagery the magenta color is healthy vegetation. Cyan is usually bare fields. You may want to check the colors that are collected, usually the blue wavelengths are filtered out. So you are viewing NI, R, & G in false color images.

According to the FAA, under Part 107, you are not required to keep a logbook. You SHOULD, but you're not required. You're handing out misleading information. Nowhere in the faa guide for airmen studying for the Part 107, does it suggest you are required to keep a logbook, and you will be fined if you don't. 🤷♂️

The CARS are Canadian Aviation Regulations. We have FAA specific material on the channel, but this is for Canadian Drone Pilots.

If volts is the Speed then a fully charged battery is running marathons. You can’t put physical terms on non physical things. There is no speed and there is no pressure. These are fields, electromagnetic to be specific, the electrons don’t move they just shake/ push and pull on each other. You got it right with the potential energy on voltages but it’s not speed it’s the amount of energy you need to move an Electron and amps are how many electrons get moved at the same time. So mah is how many electrons can the battery move in an hour. We use it as capacity cause we can easily calculate use times with it real energy is in joules or calories. Love the Video though nice Info for batteries some stuff i didnt know

This was shot with manual exposure in 4K30, with 1/120 shutter, 5400 WB, default color (the only option) in H.265 and then directly uploaded.

So far not with just wifi-based phone control, it will only track faces/people. Have to test with proper controller yet.

Question for you; Let say you can fly your drone around a particular building, then there is one area you are NOT allowed to fly over directly, but you really want to be able to have the drone fly over it, what if you then mix one part that is computer generated, like photogrammetry, to make it as if your drone flew over that area and it looks 100% realistic, would that be an issue? If someone sues you for flying over the property, then you have to go to court to prove that you have not... does anyone know any cases like this?

most fpv drones that arent heavy freestyle are using Lion packs...they last much much longer. and ya, the are custom builds. most fpv drones by big pilots like that are building their own.

There’s just too much info on those charts. Worse still are the abbreviations, colour codings and varieties of solid and dash lines. A digital version is a lot easier to refer to as we can zoom in. As a recreational drone flyer using my Mini 4 Pro as an extension of my photography hobby these charts are way overkill. Appreciate your explanations, not that my 75 yr old brain can remember much😜

Yes, unless you are a Permanent Resident of Canada you must apply for a foreign pilot SFOC.

Yes the do good advice n makn sure all nuts n bolts r nice n tight n capacity check the batterys ie cycle count. If there well maintaned theybwill last a long time

You stated that the drone needs to be registered in order to do the flight review. My question is am i allowed to do the flight review with a micro drone? If yes, does it still need to be registered for the flight review? I ask because i don't know if the review has to be done with a drone above 250g. (I only have a Mini 2)

My friend used a Mini 3 for his Advanced but had put prop guards on to get to 250g and had to register it with TC.

No, you do not have to have prop guards on it if it weighs under 250 or is 250 nor does it need to be registered with T.C.

@@1EagleDave can you reference your opinion with any TC documents? Only a fool would accept the opinion of an unknown commenter on KZbin as being accurate so I won't offer one. I will however point the OP to an actual TC document along with Coastal Drones Flight Review Checklist and leave them to make their own decision. TP 15395 states: Aircraft used for flight reviews will: 1. have a valid and current registration pursuant to CAR 901.03 2. be flown in accordance with the requirements of CARs Part IX Coastal Drones flight review checklist includes "certificate of registration" as one of the items to bring.

I have all my flight logs sync to AirData UAV which gathers the info from my DJI account. Great podcast by the way as I’m sure there must be quite a number of new flyers joining the community with the advent of so many highly capable sub-250s👍🏼👍🏼🙂
