Just going back to listen to episodes now. Wild for Kate (sp) to have had no prior knowledge to the Harbour Lights Campaign, and the correlation with the tree. While I've been a lifelong CBC listener, I'm not sure that's where my origin knowledge of the tree comes from. I think it's just a lore I've known, either from reading it in the paper, seeing it on the news, hearing it on local radio, or my parents casually commenting "the star is lit on the tree!". But for as long as I can remember, I've watched the tree slowly light up, anxiously waiting for the star, knowing that meant the donations goal had been met. As a teen, I worked for Superstore, and there was a donation drive to sell lightbulbs for the long warf tree. I remember thinking everytime i scanned the barcode, a bulb lit up on the tree 🤣🤣 Another great interview, highlighting an important community driven cause to support our food baskets.

Great interview!! Always love an inside baseball take on different jobs. Had no idea this podcast exists, will go back and listen to older episodes. Thank you for doing this series. It's fascinating learning about the different organizations involved with logistics and how they work together, to keep supply chains moving!

I travelled to Saint John from Manchester, England via Montreal and it was probably the most painful experience of any transfer I have ever had. Big fan of the podcast!

Depending on the final finish of every phase of this, it could be the fastest moving rental, lease living space to date in Saint John. The rest of this project could be finished in record time. The public space, from what I see on your webcam, changes the entire atmosphere of that area. I wish the webcam was upgraded, but that's another day. So far, so good. If quality is maintained, this is a huge change from what appeared to be a forgotten lot for so long.

Pls speak on why this entire project was developed without the Saint John disabled citizens factored in. We can only use parts of this project! We should have access to 100% of it like every other citizen. We brought this up in the planning stages and were mocked by many of our leadership of our city ever since we whenever we bring up that something is not fully accessible...... Universal design is the right way to go. Human rights dictate it. Why do you not do the right thing from the start of all projects since we have been speaking up for years now in Saint John. Pls improve your integrity by using universal design going forward. There is no fully accessible bldgs in Saint John. Some are disabled friendly, but the 33 charlotte st bldg is a bad example of quality living, the best thing is it is close to the market and pedway system. Injustice in human rights has to stop glorifying the crumbs you throw us.

Nice to see the drive to save the uptown from the loss creating by all the construction. Please ensure you all consider all disabilities and full accessibility this time around, at the planning stages, not like the challenges we faced during the issues we brought forth when we were left out of Area 506 start up planning stages. Pls include us all.

Great podcast. But the guests mic levels are very low. Noticed this on other episodes.

They will need to build a second PEI fixed link bridge or double the number of lanes of the current fixed link. That will mean a crazy increase on that bridge way if this is Canada's only Atlantic Post Panamax rated port. New Brunswick still feels like an island complete with an island economy.

So wonderful to "see" the amazingly talented and generously inclusive Fred Harrison again. We met a number of years ago at Hampton's Bloomin' Artists, he as a featured artist and I as a volunteer. That very day, he kindly invited me, a less than amateur artist, to join him and his group to paint the red rocks of St. Martin's, I believe. It makes my heart smile to see Industry , specifically the heart of our City, the Port, partner with Community ❤️

Can you update us on when the new pier will be operational? The end of Q1 has passed and we haven't heard any new ETA since early February. Thanks for the podcast.

How to apply for a job at Dp world London gate way? I'm an Indonesian since I was 19 years old. I've been operating a container crane. Until now, I'm 24. I'm still operating a container crane. I really want to work as a container crane operator there.
