The one thing I’ve noticed is that boxcar doesn’t seem to have the cooling down better. They have always over heated in hot weather compared to to some other brands. I don’t trust them in hot weather climates

As a total package (machine, dealer etc) the bobcat is the obvious choice. In terms of head to head performance? The cat is a tried and true machine. But bobcats T86 newcomer is their best CTL they’ve ever made…

@@michaelthompson9559 we haven’t seen a temp above 174 this summer. The machine sucks air in from the back now instead of the top. It’s cooling system is setup similar to the cat 299.

@@michaelthompson9559I’ve been running a T86 forestry with a Loftness head this week. Temps in upper 90s, high humidity. A/c full blast, mulching from 10-530 with only a 10 minute shutdown to blow out the screens and refuel and I haven’t seen ECTs over 200 and hydraulic temps haven’t past 172. This machine runs circles around the T770 in all metrics when mulching.

I will in the future! This job was a few months back and I was trying out a new go pro mount. But! The context of the video; Property owner needed two single wides gone so a new house could be constructed in their place. We demoed both trailers and hauled them off in 12 20yard roll offs. We had to use the smaller roll offs due to the tighter roadway that leads to the houses.

I have a Bobcat E42 with a rotary cutter. My recommendation is purchase the extra counter weight. The E42 is narrow and working on any uneven terrain over the side can be challenging. I love your mulching head. Hopefully purchasing one soon. Was the case drain a requirement for that head?

Thanks! Yes, we buy all our trucks, trailers and equipment new. We bid our jobs via a mathematical equation that allows us to get a $# and time estimate based on the area and vegetation type and density.
