How mich volts uses the Display? 3.3v or 5v??

I've had a crackly volume pot and headphone jack stopped working. Replaced the U5 op-amp with Texas Instrument 062C for less than £1, all perfect now.

7:43 I would encourage anyone going to these lengths to replace a button battery to consider a button battery holder install.

Hi, I was wondering what happens when you turn the device off while it is booting? Recently I did that with to my elektron. Now my screen doesn't even respond anymore. Only the lights of the pads and such give a quick flash when turning on though. Is this still fixable? Thank you

If all the pots were okay still, I would have repaired the shaft extending it again. The missing knob is another thing though.

Don't do this, buy a battery holder for a 2032 and replace the solder in battery with a replaceable one.

damn it I did the same thing - bought a unit from the US. Thought it was internally switching, but only noticed the switch on the outside after you mentioned it in the video. No smoke from mine, only a buzz sound then no power. I think blown fuse

Hey, first of all; thanks for sharing your insights, additionally the live repair videos you've put up are great to watch. I am wondering how you approach work on boards that use unleaded solder; do you use separate tips or remove the unleaded and then redo the joint with leaded? I've only limited experience but after running into some issues touching up/doing repair attempts on leadfree boards started keeping some separate tips and such trying to eliminate that variable from the list of possible causes... I ask because I hope to upgrade my somewhat awful atten station to a jbc one in the near future but considering the price of the jbc tips I'm not sure if it makes sense to continue the pb/no pb distinction there. Greetings from a fellow synthforum member and hope you find the time to put out more videos at some point :-)

If it is the push/click that isn't working (even though it still seems to be clicking), the first thing to try is to take the knob cap off and put a small bit of tissue or similar in the cap shaft hole so that it sits a bit higher. This fixed mine and also another bit of gear I previously owned.

Can you fix mine of course I can pay you mine has this issue ! I’ve spoken with Arturia but I’ve not herd back from them. I’m in 🇬🇧 uk but I can cover cost of postage and pay for parts and labour.

This is a bit of a strange question, but do you know which traces are connected to the S and W pins, and the A and B as well on the encoder? I had to do this repair on my unit and unfortunately my soldering iron went on the fritz and scortched the hell out of some vias, which made them pop out. I'm finding the traces on this board a bit hard to follow. I almost got it working for a second, but I'm not sure how and can't seem to reproduce it.

Hi. One day mine just wouldn't start up. The LCD lightens for a sec and then it goes dark. I opened it and and saw a slight sparkle on the on/off switch's legs on the pcb when turning it on. I tried to resolder but it still didn't start up. Any suggestions of what it could be? Thanks, /P

mine broke after 1 month - really upsetting. an amazing sequencer - but the knobs need to be better, even the caps feel cheap. The rest of the unit feels nice, it's a shame. Great customer support though.
