Great work experience. I can relate to some of it, after I got my engineering degree, I worked 15 years in the oil industry in the middle east and 35 years in the mining industry that took me to many parts of the world. after retirement I enjoy the VV Jokey Club. Basil

You guys are doing a great job of educating policyholders about one of the most important tools against insurance companies: the appraisal process. A lot of people don’t know what to do when they feel an insurance offer is unfair. There are so many myths floating around about how long it takes or how expensive it is (it's really NOT expensive!)-these are just tricks to avoid paying what’s owed. An appraisal is the only way to determine Actual Cash Value. When insurance companies make an offer, it’s just that-an offer, not the Actual Cash Value!!! It’s awesome that you’re spreading this crucial info to policyholders. Keep up the great work!

"Do we really want to put something as critically important as healthcare...in the hands of bureaucrats and politicians..." We already do that because of how our federal government is in bed with the insurance companies and big pharma through their lobbying and direct contributions to candidates or career politicians who then get paid off with signing bonuses and cushy, well paying jobs when they retire from politics. The government and healthcare are already in a toxic, co-dependent relationship that needs to be severed if we are ever to get the kind of responsible health care at reasonable costs.
