Hi, thanks for you video! It's really helpful...do you know if the cable is the same for the driver and the passenger side?

I have a 2015 and this method doesn't work for me. The method using the menu and holding the down button and trip button is for the older Evoques (2011-2013) and that method doesn't work for mine either.

Just to add a useful tip, if your trying to jack up the strut to get the hub on the bottom of the strut and it's not compressing then the shock is seized up completely. I found out the "hard" way 😅..on the dynamic they have magnetic fluid shocks and can seize completely when knackered. When I was jacking the strut there was no movement what so ever and lifted the car. Just fitting a new shocker now. Common issue but as I say it's only on the dynamic suspension (with plug at bottom of the shock). Cheers

Can't thank you enough pal, I did the passengers side spring last year no problem but for the life of me I can't get the ball joint in on the driver's side due to the hub design where the ball joint sits as it's slanted and not flat. Never thought to use a screw through the drop link hole into the 2x4 to keep the strut straight. Give it a go tonight 😅👍..this is why I love the community, all about helping each other out.

Do you use mixed fuel with oil or clean fuel?

Hello mate. I have the same model. Mine runs and works - it however fires water out of the pump itself from the brass fittings and the rubber cap on the side. It also 'pops' and appears to backfire when stopping the engine. Any idea on where to start with this? Thanks in advance

Do you need to bleed the abs unit also via BMW ISTA?
@BenzkneesАй бұрын
I felt the tension trying to crack those bleed screws! After you're finished, how do you clean the pressure bleeder out? I imagine a thin film of brake fluid will be left inside, even after draining the contents back into the brake fluid container.

Great video on Petrol Aldi 62705 WorkZone Pressure Washer Titanium / Petrol Pressure Washer Pump Repair. I have the same machine and the pump started leaking from the rear seal. I've dismantled it and the plastic ball race ring has also shattered. I was wondering if you knew where to get spares to replace this ring and the back seal. I've tried googling but cannot find it anywhere. Any help would be gratefully received and thanks for a great video, Mark.

I removed the door handle and mine has emergency key access. What a pain in the ass it is to put the door handle back! Also FYI. Different lock actuator is required if your door has emergency key access as that requires x3 cables on the lock actuator not x2…

Hi mate have you ever done a front wheel bearing is it a big job
@FIXitBUILDitGARAGE2 ай бұрын
Hello, on this car no but need to do the rear wheel bearing asap on this evoque, may film it if able to spare enough time - process is very similar, fronts maybe easier as your can turn the knuckle to get the CV shaft out, on the rear you need to half remove it.

Very informative and descriptive. I have the same washer and can’t start it-changed spark plug etc but the engine just won’t start. Any ideas?
@FIXitBUILDitGARAGE2 ай бұрын
Need to check the three main things, air, spark and fuel. If your getting spark and air intake is not blocked, could be fuel issue - try spraying brake/carb cleaning via the air filter

Hi. I’ve just got hold of the same pressure washer but where the Lance gun hose connects it looks like I’m missing a connector as it has internal threads so a Lance hose won’t fit - do you know the name of this part or where I can get it ? Also interested in getting hold of a replacement Lance and gun - the same as you have in this video if you know where I can get them. Thanks.

Just done this job. Part came from Amazon yesterday. I removed the door handle and took the latch and handle out together having unplugged the latch and taken the bolt out of the bottom of the window guide. The hardest part was disconnecting the wires from the door card. Took 2 hrs and a cup of tea. Yay!
