Hello, I need someone's help. I am on a visit visa here in Canada and I need to chnage my status into work permit/ work visa now as I have a job offer letter and LMIA from an employer. I should apply on IRCC first for a work permit and then flag pole? Can I go directly with the LMIA and all necessary documents and ask for a work permit at the border while flag polling?

I’m in India(finished studies in canada in January) and my study permit expires on 31st April but I also received my PGWP 3 days ago. Can I fly back to Canada in the month of April before my student visa expires? Kinda confused in this scenario

Myth busted. I left india in december after study completion and I re entered canada yesterday and, they just asked my univeristy name and thats it. My visa is expiring on 31 march 2023. I ask some consultant, he told me you will get deported, so apply for pgwp outside canada. 😂😂😂😂

I have recently done the flag polling I am telling this because my experience was far difference than what I saw in all the videos. I heard that you have to go early morning and their is a quota of 9 to 11 people after that all people need to go back or on other borders so I left in the evening because one of my friend is going to same place for his shift so my plan was to reach their one day before in night and wait for 12 am so I can go and line up in the morning to be the first person of the next day . We reached their at 8 o clock he left me near rainbow bridge and went for his shift so I have entire night to wait but still I thought just have a try at this time and if they will say no I will ask them the process for the next day early morning so I did flag polling at 9 pm at night and came back to Canada side and it was just one officer sitting in a small office he asked me did you check that flag polling is open or you just did it I said I just did it he said ok let me ask then. He called someone and asked that if flag polling is still open? Then he said to me you are lucky. He gave me a yellow slip and said follow me. I want to the office beside the small office. It was all empty officer asked for my documents and in 20 minutes he called me again and gave me my work permit near 9:30 and yes that was it. ( Rainbow bridge)

I have done a 1+1 program and I have taken an unofficial break for 4 months in between since its legally allowed is it a viable option to do flag poling to get the work permit? please do respond if anyone has done it!

As you said your study permit was going to expire after one month. And work permit processing time is 4 months. Then when your study permit was expired what will be the status of the stay and can we work while waiting for work permit???.

Thanks for sharing that bro I have question my trv is expired on Dec 2022 and I applied my PGWP extension on Dec 10 2022 I also submitted my pr file but processing time for work permit for 5 months I have to go india in end of Feb can I go or can I apply my trv in india when my work permit approved
