i met a lot of people in ireland like him, able to discuss experiences and emotions so directly. one of the many things i loved about my visit..felt so comfortable, b/c here in usa, folk, esp men, have such trouble discussing things like loss directly....this interviewer is so good so often. gives space for the folk to talk. no one in usa like that on tele.

Shite. In 2012 Donegal beat Kerry, cork and mayo en route to winning Sam. Donegal scored 2 goals and 1 point at the start of the 2012 final. Donegal also scored 3 goals against the respected Dublin team in the 2014 semi final. If that's not positive I don't know what is.

What a sport. Great documentry. I think this shows glimpses of why the GAA is so special to the Irish. Not played for personal glory but for your team, your family, your parish, your county. The sacrafises made, the commitment and the hard slog of training is all done to ensure your not going to let anyone down.
