Thanks just copied this video and I’ve changed front and back pads. Only question, once fitted. Is it normal for the pads themselves to have some play between disc and calliper ?? Like a little wiggle. I’ve figured it’s because we manually press the break piston back in, and that creates more space for the wiggle of the pad??? If not let me know, cos don’t wanna test until safe lol

@@whostroubled when you put the new pads in, depending how far you pushed the caliper back, there might be a tiny bit of movement, but once you use the brakes there will be less movement, there will always be an air gap as the pads don't press hard against the disk until you actually brake.

@@markpearce5793 lol, I don't mean that's the end cause I had enough. I mean I rode for 7 minutes before I arrived at the traffic lights and only uploaded the end of the delivery. I handed the food over and said have a pleasant evening. Not getting a tip is pretty normal in the UK. A very small number of people tip, it doesn't really bother me. I've delivered in pouring rain with thunder and lightning and not made one tip in a four hour shift. My first Christmas week in 2018 is when I discovered, no tips. I didn't get one single tip during that Christmas week. I still said, have a great Christmas. So I'm shocked when I see delivery people in the U.S get upset at a small tip etc.

@@1960ARC hello mate. Which one would you buy new again first. The primavera 125 or SH125i?
@1960ARC27 күн бұрын
@@j.harvey4030 I'd buy the SH125i as it's a very practical bike. It's a real work horse. If I was buying a bike just for looks and to pose, it would be the vespa. The vespa is a beautiful scooter, but very expensive considering it has a drum brake on the back wheel. The Liberty actually has the same engine and running gear as the primavera and is pretty cheap. The tyre on the Honda last much longer being 16 inch. The belt on the primavera is good for 8000 miles, the Honda 16000 miles. The Honda uses next to no oil, just change at 4000 miles. The vespa seems to use oil and needs to be topped up every week if you ride a lot.

Awesome video. I live in Marsascala where aircraft coming to land pass in front of my home when using runway 31.

No it does not bother me at all. In fact I stop and watch as I like airplanes a lot and most of the time they are a bit far out.@@1960ARC

I have been quoted £60 for the front and £60 for the rear to replace the brake pads on a Honda SH Mode 125cc. How much are the brake pads? Could you list the spanner sizes and sockets required for both the front and rear?
@1960ARC10 ай бұрын
From memory you will need 8mm, 10mm maybe 12mm. also 6mm I think, if you take off the nut holding the brake pipe. I bought a cheap socket set from Lidl, it also has some torx bits, one of these will also be needed. I bought EBC pads front and back. This was ok for the front, but back wore out very quickly. I then bought ferodo for the back, these lasted longer. I've just fitted honda pads to the back to see how long they last, they were around £40, all other pads were under £20. The front I've got EBC again as these lasted very well, probably due to their size. Bear in mind I have the SH125i, not sure if the mode has a disk on the back.

In Europe, top end sintered brake pads are about 40 - 50 eur a pair (you need two pairs per bike), cheapest carbon ones about 10 eur a pair. DON'T get the original Honda ones - they are VERY expensive for their quality. You can get simillar brake pads for at least half as much. Also - considering you mentioned SH Mode, which isn't sold in Europe as far as i know, you're probably from Asia/South America and should get those low - mid range brake pads for much cheaper. The top tier pads are usually made in Europe so they might actually be more expensive for you due to shipping costs.

"The spike protein isn't benign" is the title of the video. The channel is "High Intensity Health". I'm just simply tiring of all of the sensor-ring💍 You know what's next...no more comments. You were telling a commentor that "you found a letter on YT" I'm merely attempting to view your reply to another user. This is nuts!

Thanks you, but as I think I mentioned as part of the description, it was my own fault for various reasons. I was picking up an Uber Eats order at the time. It obviously hurt, as I'm only human. I delivered the order and then went home to return to work the following day. Ribs and arm hurt a little, but back to normal after a few days. Now riding a Honda SH125i, abs front and back, 16 inch wheels and traction control. I look out for man hole covers when it rains, we live and learn!
