I personally think that the Ohio Scientific Superboard was a better computer then the Apple-1 was. Eventhough the OSI Superboard did not survive the early years of computing. Strange, it must have been the marketing that made the difference.

Anybody have a conversion chart from mm to AWG? I have this tool. Can confirm it works, but wud love to know about a 1-step tool of equal quality.

Ok. Finally a great video, but that doesn’t mean I understood it. I have a variable speed controller for my dc treadmill motor. I’m currently using two pots (120k and 20k to equal the required 140k Ohms). This allows me to have a course and fine rpm control. But I’d rather have a digital pot or encoder. The problem is I haven’t a clue how to do it. I want a single turn with about 60 Ohms resolution. What parts do I need? How do I program it to get what I want? I do not understand any of this. Can you help clear it up for me? Thanks, Paul

a very nice improvement! 🥰 working with 440vac 3 phase motor drives requires isolated oscilloscope inputs. so, the input frequency is low. 😎 thanks.

wow such a simple little circuit with big challenges. 😎 just goes to show simulations can get you close to the real deal. 😏 thanks

as just a hobby person LTspice is great. however, the simulation does not always match the real world 🤔 so, after a while where do you spend your design time?

Maybe you could change the function of the switch so it changes the increment steps to finner & back on 2nd press?.

brilliant move with the heat shrink. I have 20 gauge hookup, that even with a nice solder joint the leads can fray where I cut the insulation and tear off. I can see how the heat shrink can minimize this issue.

Perfect your lesson! my design is tiny to fit like a pen 2 finger width, i'm seeing a step down to parallel the 12v motor power to 3.3v power to the arduino nano. But I'm afraid this will steal 3.3v from the engine and stay only 9v. it may happen ?
@SixWildKids3 жыл бұрын
It has a pretty low drop out voltage and a constant output. I've put in 5-23V and get out 3.3V consistently just fine.
@ahmedamer58703 жыл бұрын
Very nice video thanks. Can you make a video about capacitive isolators in LTSpice
if you vary the input voltage like with a solar panel does output voltage remain fixed at that you set it to or will it also track along with input voltage?

I saw your Wiki page. did you ever upload the PCB layout after your modifications? It did not look like it. or did you just have to make that mod because the OP amp you purchased was different & not the LTC6268-10? Oh, my bad I just notice you did update your changes. scratch that?

Thank you, good video, But FAR easier said than done. Unfortunately I have 122 connections to make to 14 d-sub connectors. I’m 86 yo and I’m wondering if I’ll ever get them done! lol
@christurk17784 жыл бұрын
You can but pre-wired d sub connectors that go to pins, just search for them on Mouser or digikey like he showed, and be sure to get the right size and gender!

Would this MIni 360 Buck converter be a good choice for my project requiring an output of 12vDC? I am looking to use battery Li-Ion 18650 to power a set up flashing LED strobes on my PARAMOTOR as collision avoidance lights. Requires 12vDC. I'd like to use 4 cells (4.2v-3.3v x4) as input voltage to output 12V. SPecifications: Voltage: 12V DC , Amperage: 1.39A, Power: 16.7W

How are you so sure you really buying from Japan, just because it's written like this? There are a lots of "original" "made in Japan" products on eBay that are fake (forging at a pretty high level). For example, all "Mitutoyo" products or "Makita Japan" on AliExpress website are of course fake. You can see a good example of this here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ-nqqObYs9mns0 I hope this product is real and you will enjoy it for years to come. Thanks!

Be aware that this unit will NOT charge 12 volt batteries. it will discharge up to 30 volts but will only charge up to "10 volts". I found out the hard way because I wanted to charge and test the capacity of small capacity sealed lead acid batteries like you find in a UPS

Wow, what a shout-out, and presented very nicely as well. :) Lot's of 64's in the code but only one of them sets the line length, the others scale the 'rather large' image down to something that fit's on the monitor. I'll come back and post a few details soon, though I have a couple of tasks to get out of the way first. I mainly wanted to say thanks for the shout-out, and .... ..... check your email, I sent you a couple KB of spare blockram :)

@@LandBoardsLLC No problems, I'm a bit rusty so the practice is a good thing. I found the quartus settings you need to look at in order to stop the UART from consuming RAM. You have mail. There is still an additional 1KB of unused 9th bits in the BASIC ROM, this is also recoverable with a little extra work.
@LandBoardsLLC5 жыл бұрын
I gave it a shot but still had the same blockRam tied up by the UART. I probably did it wrong. It set these. Maybe the wrong values? set_global_assignment -name INFER_RAMS_FROM_RAW_LOGIC OFF set_global_assignment -name AUTO_SHIFT_REGISTER_RECOGNITION ALWAYS Have you seen Neal Crook's Multicomp build? It's 6809 based but fixes a lot of stuff . github.com/nealcrook
