This message is about clinging onto hope and not deviating from our true purpose in life. Our true purpose in life and hope is found in the Lord Jesus Christ Who is the Son of God. We can all try to put our faith in the things of this world that shine like gold, but is really rust. We all think at times in our life that more money, more achievements, and more successes will bring us fulfillment and joy in life. As nice as those things can be, it will never truly satisfy our soul. It will never truly quench the hunger and thirst that our heart craves on a day-to-day basis. Only Jesus Christ can truly satisfy our lives. Only Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God can truly fill that part in our heart that weary and heavy burdened by life’s sorrows. Jesus died on the cross for the sake of the world’s sins (wrongdoing) and rose up from the dead three days later by the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Because all of mankind has rebelled against God and deviated from the path He so graciously predestined for us all, and because of the free will that God has given us, we have ended up in situations and circumstances that could’ve been easily prevented if we took advantage of those opportunities God provided us to place our faith in Him. This is not a condemnation message, but an encouraging and convicting one. It provides us the opportunity to check our heart posture and will help us discover our true purpose on this earth is. God will not force us to place our faith in Jesus, but He will provide us the opportunities to get to know Him personally. That is why God gave us free will so that we would not feel forced to serve Him, but be willing to do so. The wrath that all of mankind deserves to experience from God, Jesus decided to take it upon Himself so that anyone who places their faith in Him will be eliminated from experiencing the righteous judgment that God will display towards those who reject Jesus. Jesus is coming soon, and we all will be judged and have to give an account for all the things that we did, said, thought, and felt in our heart, whether good, evil, or both. Don’t wait until it’s too late to put your faith in Jesus. The very fact that you’re still alive means that God is still working on you and providing you more opportunities to get to know Him personally. You can pray to as many false “gods” as you want, but only, the one and only true God will respond with love and divine authority. God bless you all. 💜
