I am very late to the party. Congratulations again on the house! It looks great. All the space and possibilities, love it! I wouldn't also be so excited about washer/dryer in the garage, though. But the shed..if you have it all sorted out, maybe if it isn't all occupied by stuff to be stored, it could be a gathering place/hangout kind of thing with the electricity in there. I also thought "grow room" right before you said it.
@ProjectWinkАй бұрын
Thank you so much! 🥰 never too late! It’s really come together since. I just don’t have a laptop to edit videos on anymore so I haven’t posted in way too long. Definitely a grow room lol. Twice the solar than necessary for a house this size too 🙄😜

Congratulations on your new house! Its so nice and spacious. Your backyard is huge! And it looks like plenty of room for the pups! :) Have you thought about temporarily getting a shower head extension arm for the shower upstairs until you can fix it? Im sure it would really help. I had to do that for my shower because my husband is very tall. Its definitely helped us.

Oh I love the house, you’ll certainly make it a wonderful home. So much storage space too. Definitely would agree with the kitchen plans, opening it out more and an island will be a good call. We have a drawer freezer too and i love mine. The potential you have for that house is huge, you can do loads with it. Zeek is such a miss but sister will settle down soon I’m sure, she’s lovely. 😊

The run looked fun and super scenic! Years ago, I wanted to get into running, but my joints were so horrible. Been taking collagen supplements and hoping it'll be a gamechanger for me. You may want to get the tingling in your fingers checked out, especially if it persists. That's kinda weird. Holy freckles, batman! That's what I was thinking too. Very freckly. :P
@ProjectWink7 ай бұрын
Honestly, running is way better for your body than people speculate. It’s not hard on your knees if you’re doing it right 😅 I think it has something to do with my back/spine 🫣 but I’m not sure. Idk what happened lol.

Oh my ... poor Poncho. But why didn't they call before removing the teeth? I mean, it's a bad comparison, but if I have my car at the shop, they call for every small thing if they should do it, when it wasn't agreed upon upfront .... I would have been upset with them. Well you could make a necklace out of his teeth ... to always remind him ... 🤪 .. never mind ... that was a bad joke ... Don't blame yourself. Poncho is lucky to have you! Now a bath, well I'm not so sure anymore ... 😉 And to answer your question, yes, it is gross 😆 but it triggers me more that you just let your water run ... haven't you learned anything in germany? 😄
@ProjectWink8 ай бұрын
I said the same thing to Travis actually. I compared it to a lot of things less important than sweet Panchy 😩 some of them were so small and rotten 😞 Ha ha ha ha. I knew someone was gonna say something about the water. But this faucet is the worst with temperature. Sometimes it turns back on scalding hot and it’s so frustrating. 🫠

I'm so sorry for your little dog and also sorry to see you so sad. You're right it's unusual to have such bad teeth at his age but it's not your fault. You always take great care of your dogs so well and they're lucky to have such a good family.

I’m sorry to hear about Poncho! I had a pug with a similar situation. No matter what I did, he had terrible teeth. I tried different foods, brushing, everything. He had many dentals and always had teeth extracted. Don’t be too hard on yourself, you take excellent care of him. Most likely, it’s genetic. Sending lots of love to you both!❤

I get the being adventurous with food thing. I know what I like, and I want to stick with it, so there's always some internal resistance there. I want to eat healthier and try new things, so I'll feel mighty brave about it when I buy the new things, but less so when it's time to eat it. Hard not to have some waste in those situations. I don't think it's crazy at all (or dramatic) to feel bad about the Poncho situation. Sometimes we do the best that we can, but we have blind spots... things we don't know to do or keep up on. If you'd have known about Poncho's teeth being that way, you would've done something about it sooner... just like once you realized there was a problem, you were on it lickety-split. That's always been something that struck me about you is how much love you have for your dogs and how happy and well cared for they are. Poncho's post-bath drying off is super cute, btw! Random is good and interesting. I enjoyed this episode. :)
@ProjectWink8 ай бұрын
I do the exact same thing! I think I’m gonna be adventurous and make new things with it but it’s usually Travis that makes the new things ha ha ha. He’s made this Swiss chard and white bean lasagna, it was a layer of chia seeds in it. It sounded like the strangest thing but it is SOOOO good! He’s a phenomenal cook. He’s the more adventurous one for sure. I’ve always tried to brush Panchos teeth too, cause his breath stinks 🙄 and I noticed his teeth were kinda brown and yucky by the gums. But I had no idea they were like rotten 😳 that blew me away. Now we’re keeping a better eye on them and will get them cleaned professionally yearly 🥲 He gets the post bath crazies lol. Zeekie always did too. He’d get all excited for Pancho to get out of the bath so he could run around with him ha ha ha. Thanks for letting me know! I appreciate it!
@kimenders56268 ай бұрын
@@ProjectWink Seems like he compliments you in that way! My husband is also the more adventurous one. He's been pushing me for years to try new stuff, so he's pretty happy that I finally am. That's crazy about the swiss chard and white bean lasagna with chia seeds. On paper, it doesn't sound appetizing, but hey, you don't know until you try it. I had those feels about egg wraps, but I wanted a no-flour option for my wraps, and I was surprised at how good Egglife wraps are. (Not a strong taste, holds together good, low calorie. Wowza!) So, yeah, I keep telling myself 'You won't know until you try it, so try it once!' Yeah. You ARE a good dog mom! And it could just be Poncho's genetics. We experienced this with our two human daughters. My oldest girl brushed religiously and still got a ton of cavities and needed root canals. It was ridiculous. But our boys, who take after my side of the family, didn't take as good care of their teeth and had maybe 1 or 2 cavities. O.o I still think about Zeek, especially when I watch you with your other doggos. He really was a good boy.
