Selecting the dedicated GPU for Chrome via the NVIDIA Control Panel settings didn't make any difference, but your second method of selecting the High Performance option for Chrome via the Windows 10 Display Setting seems to have done the trick - thank you!

Actually worked, thanks. It even fixed problems I had with some steam games. I simply added the steam game on the windows graphic settings.
