Does green light work as well at protecting night vision?
@jbradshaw42367 жыл бұрын
Not as well no. Green is for reading maps or charts. The old red ready rooms on ships are actually being replaced with different lighting but in general red light persarves night vision longer. Blue light is very useful for first aid at night.

In the military, when we're out in the field, required to use red light, doesn't kill your night vision plus can't be detected as easy by IR

Nice review JimS0cks. But about Bescor LED-14, it is a very, very weak light. Don't buy it. Choose Bescor LED-35 or better. The light of Bescor LED-14 appears to be a spot. Too much focused, poor wide angle light.
