I just learned this song last week and played it live last Friday! Love playing in open D - I need to write more songs in this tuning to make it worth bringing an extra guitar. You sound fantastic man - hope we cross paths again soon. Peace!

Thanks man! I bet you sound great on this one!! my little secret for getting to open the tuning without taking five minutes to tune is do a song that’s in drop D, then one that’s in Double D, then get those last two strings to Open D. And then work my way back up of I can to standard. Still would be nice to have a guitar tech run out and hand me a perfectly tuned guitar lol
