I have an Epson ET 15000 also and for the last few days I have wasted so much dtf transfer sheets trying all the hacks I seen on KZbin but unfortunately my printer still wouldn’t print on it. The film would go straight through or start to print and stop. Many times my printer would say paper jam but it never was and the paper would come out with roller marks. I kept searching and I found a video that showed me how to change my settings for best quality print. Then I found a comment from another crafter about the tape hack. She said painter’s tape but I was desperate y’all so I used what I had. I had tried scotch tape before this hack by taping sublimation paper to the back. It didn’t work. I got a piece of medical paper tape and put one strip down the entire center of the dtf transfer sheet. My printer accepted it without any problems. Hope this helps❤️!

36:24 I tried to use the sublimation HTV for dark on a black apron that a customer had bought and asked me to put a photo on the front. That was a DESASTER! The apron was 100% Polyester. I had to grab some cotton aprons from hobby lobby. Thank goodness they had some! The color was horrible on the black polyester. Then, when I did the cotton aprons, the colors were stunning!

I’m having all kinds of problems I printed like 30 or 40 DTF patterns and powder coated them and unfortunately I don’t have a oven to put them in to cheer so I’ve been kind of doing it in a dehydrator at 158°. I just let it sit in there a little longer because it said something about putting it in an oven for 180° for two minutes or something like that And I don’t have a oven that I can put stuff in because like that because of the powder it blows all over my dehydrator, but I can’t get my heat press to print anything that I make. I’ve been having to use other instruments. I’ve got all kinds of heat presses but 15 x 15 supposedly you can’t set it for any temperature less than 200° but I could’ve swore I read something that said press the pattern for like 60 seconds or something like that I did it for 30 seconds at first, and then that didn’t work so then I tried a minute that didn’t work, but I’m getting to the point where it’s putting a little tiny part of the pattern and none of the rest Any information would be great help by the way I’m using hippo sublimation ink in this echo tank ET 15,000 and I probably didn’t even convert it the right way because I heard somebody saying something about removing the rollers and I had no idea what the rollers were until a little while ago but I see now why I can’t DTF print on things that are a certain thickness because those are stopping me from doing so Because I have some of those notebook paper size pieces of vinyl but the kind that looks like your car interior that you could probably print onto and I was gonna try to just go ahead and print on a piece of that and see what happened and it wouldn’t go through the printer

Have you tried the offset with a negative number.

I just purchased the 11x17 of this and I am so disappointed. I have tried every trick and I can not get it to feed correctly into my Epson ET 15000. I have used a different brand of DTF paper that had no issues feeding. I was really looking forward to using this as I need the larger size sheets but I dont know what other tricks to try to get this film to be recognized and feed correctly. anyone else besides me have this issue. I did see someone else complain about this on Amazon but that didn't find a resolution either.

can you verify if this can do 13x19 borderless? i know it does 13x19 with border, but i want borderless. not sure if i should buy this printer.

My solution when Im using Htv ront dark sublimation on black shirts: I first press down the htvront down first for 10 seconds then I print the sublimation paper bigger than htvront. When I press the image some of the ink of the sublimation paper over laps the border and goes on the shirt itself. You will not see any ink on the black shirt because it just blends inside. I never get the white border no more. I thing the dark htvront sublimation is easier than the light version.

I love how you talk through your thought process - really helps me understand the advantages and disadvantages of doing it 1 way over another. (Are you worried about copyright or do you have lisence?)

Has the sublimation on the shirt faded at all that is directly on the shirt since it has been washed? I'm not asking about what is on the htvront vinyl, but on the shirt itself.

Do you think it’s because you’re not adding white DTF Ink it should have white on at the end of the process

I just printed a small square of my design and the ink doesn't look solid. It looks kind of bubbly if that makes sense. I'm afraid to do the whole page I don't want to waste a bunch of ink. 30 minutes later the ink is still wet and I can smear it right off with my finger.

If you use the Silhouette mat to the transfer film it will print correctly every time.. also you must take out the last set of rollers. I have the Et8550 and it works great. I have printer 200 large A3 pages. Good Luck

Where did you get the prints at? Love the sayings. Great job,! Does the dtf work better with the clam shell or auto pressure?

Did you wait for the ink to dry? The advanced tips section of the paper that came with the kit says to buy I don’t find it drying even after 10 minutes!

Thanks for the video. I’m having this same problem. One thing I learned about DTF is that it’s a cold peel. The shirt looks good. Take your time and maybe try letting it cool a little longer. I hope there’s another video out showing how you fixed these issues.
