Yes-much more refined now with many bugs addressed since launch. I just bought the limited edition OLED Steam Deck. Can’t wait to try it out when it arrives next week.

I bet if Way of the Hunter starts working well the devs are gonna start caring. They been updating when all the rave and excitement of Way of the Hunter came on. They just need a little nudge from competition

Unfortunately, after patch 1.02, the game is once again broken on Steam Deck and crashes upon launch.

Yeah it’s pretty sad that there hasn’t been much progress by devs to get it working Steam Deck again. I had been under the (wrong) impression that new releases on Steam in general would support the Deck, but I was sadly mistaken. I’ve since stopped playing this game and went back to Fishing Planet, which I actually enjoy more than COTW.

My game is up to date but it won’t start, any suggestions? Do I need to install Windows?

The first time I tried, it took almost a minute for the game to launch. Did you get that pop-up message and were you able to click “Yes”? If so, give it a minute or two and it will start.

@@spartec7287 I did get the two pop-up boxes and selected “yes” but each time I do, the game crashes immediately. I’ve tried a number of workarounds but haven’t gotten lucky yet
