The easiest way to free up the Boulders in the Nose of the Trailer. Lower the Dump, then pull forward 50 feet or more. Then make a quick Reverse and hit the Brakes. Do it once or twice. Will prevent a Lay Over.

Part of the problem was the cover hoops, the big rocks got stuck on them. Should have removed those first.

Do you think you had enough rock lol I normally put the big rocks on the bottom then they won’t jam up. If you put them on the top on your tailgate case it wouldn’t matter it was just too much so must’ve wanted to sell. That trailer pretty bad.

Wrong trailer for the job. That rock is not meant to load on a spread axle. Needs both axles on the ground.

The problem is they move and lock in during transportation, and should have never loaded that heavy on the front. Legal or not.

Yes. As well this is pumice stone. So the stone tends to lock/weld itself together during the trip.

@@teamsix7185wow, that's crazy, I have never heard of that rock before. When we do haul rocks we usually put a little sand or whatever to kinda protect the box and adds a little lube for the dump.

I get super stressed when I show up to a site and they don't preload a drop cushion for loading / loose material to encourage big rock or concrete chunks at a much lower dump angle early in the cycle. But not always the answer. I would have aborted after I've reached 3er or 4th stage. Then try and find someone/ siteor with a loader or excavator to give it a quick stir. Steep hill roll back a little and jerk the breaks

I'm a diesel mechanic and had to replace the main lifting hydraulic arm on a turned over dump truck. Had to cut the first stage connection with a torch to get it out. Truck was down 2 weeks to source the parts.
