@@flyerinsight I had a chance to spoke to one those PANAM pilots who volunteered to those last minute flights to Saigon. He told told that the B52 were carpet bombing the Vietkongs as they were making a final approach. As the aircraft just stood at the air it was a sitting duck for vietkongs

PEK maybe the largest but currently New Jeddah Airport is the latest landmark of Saudi Arabia and this new airport would become one of the best in the Middle East and if u look New Jeddah Airport has the Worlds largest airport aquarium which can fill 1 Million Liters of water it has the largest ATC tower 136 Meters New Jeddah has some of the worlds largest things in it and Yea I never said New Jeddah is the worlds largest airport

@@flyerinsight They want to compete with Dubai and Doha. My experience with Doha's Sheikh Hamaad international airport was great even much greater than the Dubai's terminal 3. I had 11 hours stay I'd requested for a hotel they gave me a coupon for the hotel which is located inside the terminal building. The room was small but I liked the food. They had served me sheesh towk and 3 hours before they knocked my door as I was ready to board for Houston. Coincidentally one of the cabin crews members from Germany spoke Urdu fluently as her dad was from Pakistan. Saudi Arabian Airlines people were rude. I'm planning to board direct flight from Doha to Auckland.

Ali Ahmed maybe u travelled in Saudia a long time ago.... Saudia is very improved after 2018 u have to give them a try I enjoyed Saudia when I traveled In December 2018 Riyadh to Paris and if they are competing with Dubai and Doha there is no problem at all....

@@flyerinsight Did you know that back in 80's, 70's, and 60's there was no concept of direct flight as there was no Emirates, Etihad, and Saudi Arabian Airlines was not that popular. Only 3 carriers ruled the skies 1st was PANAM, 2nd was PIA, 3rd was Air India. Example a PANAM flight from Mumbai to New York or Washington used to stopover in Karachi then London and then it was New York. It was very hectic it took 18 hours to reach New York. One of my uncles went to Australia back in 1989 when no one used to go there. It took him 2 days to reach from Karachi to Sydney. First he used to take Malaysian or Singapore airlines he had a stay of almost 17 hours then the next day he used to depart for Sydney. Once he took PIA from Karachi to Tokyo then he took JAL to Sydney. My dad travelled to Washington from Karachi back in 1981. He was tired
