Love how Pink always engages the back-up singers and sings with them. They are a well oiled machine

Too many people underestimate the impact of this song in the 90's. In mainstream music, there was nothing like it. Virtually all of the mainstream "break-up songs" recorded by women were sad, lonely, crying-in-my-coffee types of songs. There was nothing even close to the realm of the "fuck you, you fucking fuck!!!" song. Then "You Oughta Know" hit the radio and all of a sudden it was ok for a young woman to be pissed instead of sad. I can clearly remember a group of my female friends singing this at the tops of their lungs at a party, each one of them singing it to a different guy in their heads. There was music before Jagged Little Pill and music after it, and no one can convince me otherwise.

The feral feminine rage in this song is beautiful.

And real ones know that if you left the cd playing aftwr the last song, a hidden song would appear about 13 minutes in ..

To add to this, Jagged Little Pill was so huge in 1995 to 1996. I remember being in a parking lot and some *guys* passing by with "Hand in My Pocket" cranked up really loud. Was really cool.

I love the amount of energy this track and this version aove all, with the surprise even to God i guess.... Hearing the audience screaming and singning loud!!! I think there's no human being with between 20 to 60 who doesn't know this track. And hosted and sang along Pink.... it's a great power female fucking version.... thanks for share!!!

I guess there were not seat available in the parking lot? You are kidding right? Audio is crap, video is crap. You made them sound bad,,,nice going! STOP DOING THIS, YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT IT!!!!

It could've just been the phone. My phone once it gets too loud will struggle to pick it up. This isn't professionally recorded so why judge it as such?

Hi Marc! Great video! I'm working on an audio story about how the Kilby Block Party has grown rapidly over the past 4 years for KUER (NPR's biggest Utah affiliate). I was wondering if I could use a clip from this in my story?
