I like this, and I found this video funny. Every time you explain how we “piss you off,” i giggled at your honesty. I know that’s you’re honest assessment of us, and I can see how somebody else could see us that way. I hear my J mother yelling at me in childhood in the background of your words. I’ve got love for you J’s. But yeah, we have these preferences, and you have yours. I’m glad I’m wired the way I am. But sometimes I can’t see myself, so I really appreciate the recording of your perspective of us.

Great post. Unhealthy Se in INTJ is judgmental and controlling out of insecurity and a feeling of helplessness. Healthy Se in INTJ is relaxed and trusting out of confidence in one's ability to "ride the wave".

I have watched a couple of your videos, and I have to say that you are SPOT on. Every single time. Not because I am using your videos as guidelines, but because I have naturally implemented the strategies that you present in my 30+ years of life. Yet, I didn't develop these principles in a deliberate way, rather, they were the logical conclusions of my adventures/experiences/misfortunes out and about the world. It is good to see that someone else out there can summarise it all so cleanly and straight-forwardly into a couple of slides. :)

Even though I'm not counterphobic, I consider myself as a competitive person. In a healthy way, of course. It's not about being better than others, the core of competitiveness here concerns the action of expanding your abilities, always trying to excel and achieve "perfection" to stand out in the crowd as a reward for your hard work.

When stress becomes too much, a type six will become more like an unhealthy three. That is called disintegration, which plays part in the competitiveness of a type six.

The enneagram really does two things for me. It explains that there are types within types which is great. But it can also confuse one to believe that he is another type when he is not, and especially when he or she is unhealthy. e.g. A very selfish INFJ believing they are INFPs. I believe the Google guys, Larry page and Sergey Brin are definitely Type 9 INTPs because they are quite competitive. What do you think?

I know INTJs don't like to be corrected but you should rather say 'my INFP ex-boyfriend' Don't stare at this message with your death stare. I do like an INTJ with some good Fi. It's really refreshing. You guys seem so scary without it. I met one INTJ guy in a cafe exactly two years ago, a very tiny cafe.. His time had run out, but he was using the computer to charge his phone. I spoke to him about writing after asking him if he read fiction. When i ask someone a question i normally expect them to answer back using some of the words i asked the question with. I asked if he read fiction, and he said he was a reader, and i asked again if he read fiction, and he was angry, saying, I said i"m a reader! That's just by the way. Well, if you you don't have a new boyfriend yet, then i hope you get someone who complements you, able to empathize with you and handle you with care, and be there for you as you command him. You're an INTJ and i shouldn't say this, but just in case you're not a fully healthy one, make sure you have similar destinies or at least he doesn't stand in the way of your 'practical' dreams. That is all. I will be waiting for your next video.

Kinda wish you could have made this without insulting IFs (or IS. Whatever you said. As an ISFP, it's rude either way, and if you ask me it was kinda selfish of you to say what you did just to make a point about yourself. : /) I won't give you the satisfaction of hearing my argument against it since your mind is obviously made up. Regardless, I came here to get info on a friend of mine who is likely both of these. The information on him was helpful, and I can at least thank you for that.

Please stop judging our perceptive qualities. Sounds like you are trying bend others to your likeing. I think you may get along better by accepting you are not them and they are not you and by trying to understand how to integrate the parts of each of your personality into the big picture instead of trying to get someone to bend to your will that you'd get more accomplished.

I “liked” this video solely because it helps to demonstrate how often and easily people are mistyped. I’m not entirely certain who is being described here, but it’s not INTP. Act without thinking? Hide from truth? Uh, negative. Perhaps I’ll watch again, make some notes and give a proper dissection. If I don’t get too distracted first.

You can tell me what are the problems. Maybe we can brainstorm together. I am not so INTJ, he always told me that I am INFJ. I have INFP in me because of my upbringing. I have an ESFJ mother, ISFJ grandmother living in a very sensor society. So I have INFP in me. He got an ISTJ mother. His work place required lots of thinking, my work required lots of feeling. Struggled for few years, but it make us more balance and able to kinda balance our F/T and T/J. Kindly share the struggle. Really would like to know more on how to relate each situation. What I see INFP enneagram type 2, they are people pleaser. They kinda need to follow the crowd sometimes.

These days, I viewed challenges as another way to better my system. It often makes me more alert and confirm what's the most useful part of things/relationship. Sometimes I feel like instead of hating it, why not embrace it. Looking at the difficulty to make the system to be able to survive at all time.

Hi! I'd like to come over the 2 last point you talked about: Don't like to lose: ah well, it's not that I don't like to lose but when I I'm asserting something, in my head I turned it all the way around to come to a conclusion.... maybe I'm wrong but if no counter point is raised against it, it is how it has to be. Saying I'm wrong isn't enough, I need to see what and where I did wrong, I need details to complete my assertion... and change it if needed. Failing to do so will just lock me up and I'll withdraw and revoke my help and thoughts on that matter. Don't require to give back: Ahah! Of course I need give back.... I won't ask for it, I assume people around me are smart enough to know that a relation is always based on give/give. Take all of me without giving back... it won't last long before I shut it down (even if I'm resilient on that point, so much one's can think I'm the easy touch) And... I don't know if it's related to my type or if it's just me..... Once I shut it down, one will have really huge pain to get it back (if ever they can!)

I think it's more about getting things done. I realize that people do not do that to that extent. It is like touch and go. People generally do not want to know so much details unless it involves money/benefit etc.

I produce music and have a hard time creating a final product, because I become bored and begin yearning to start imagining the next project. I've been told that I am the most (sports) competitive person that they know. I am only now learning (at 53) to say no to some people, when they ask for my help. Sometimes I know that helping someone will put me in a bad place and I would still try to help. I hate that about myself.

You clearly don't know much about INTP's your first "weakness" doesn't make sense considering INTP's are logical thinkers and don't act quickly they are not cowards they dislike conflict so avoid it and are flexible unless it goes against their personal morals educate yourself on the type before sounding like an idiot they're just as smart possibly smarter thsn INTJ's they're literally one of the smartest types

Concerning pretentiousness. It may appear to some that intp's are somehow dishonest, or liars if they appear to "agree" with someone, when they actually don't. However... 1) intp's often simply want to avoid needless conflict and drama. It's seen as draining and idiotic, (especially if it's) accomplishing little or nothing. An intp may take a stand, to the extent an issue touches on their (likely small) set of core values. But not on every trivial thing. 2) They may genuinely react positively to a conflicting statement or position that can be categorized subjectively, while themselves loathing it. This is not dishonest, but actually honest. e.g. An intp may congratulate you on winning at poker or having chocolate ice-cream, even if they hate those things. Because they are actually being supportive of you as a friend, on subjects that are a matter of opinion and subjectivity. Thanks for the video. Some good points.
