That kind of claw machine right there, it is a Cosmic Crane (older type) and the reason the claw is not closing properly, one of the claw prongs need to be fixed.

Earlier mammoth cranes like the temple designs were made by showman cranes themselfs but the newer cabinets were manufactured by a complete different company for showman
