mayak kimbap actually translates to drug kimbap not mini kimbap. it is called such since people find it addictive, the same way mayak gyeran (korean marinated eggs) is referred to

Hi! Thanks for dropping by. 😊 True! All along I thought it meant mini (I think i misunderstood the guy i spoke to when I was the market and a few articles I’ve read after that) until I watched the first few episodes of Miss Day and Night (new K drama) and the two actors mentioned ‘mayak’ 🤣 maybe i should also pin a clarification note here in the comments section. Thanks for the reminder!!!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to know that this is one of my most-viewed videos - because Saga-Arashiyama just has a special place in my heart. Any recommendations that you might want to add? And has anyone of you tried the Hozugawa River Cruise? If yes, how was it? 😍

Hello. I `m Japanese. in the fall few years before, I had ridden the Sagano romantic train with my friend from Hong Kong as well. The autumn foliage season is really beautiful isn't it? I live in Yokohama now, but My parents house is in Kyoto. I like to walk along the path of philosophy. thanks!

Konnichiwa! 😊 Thank you for sharing your experience. Yes, I totally agree with you - this place is really extra beautiful in autumn! 🍂😍 It must be nice to always have a reason to visit Kyoto since your parents are there. It's so beautiful there. ♥️ I heard the Path of Philosophy is really nice, but sadly I wasn't able to visit that place in my last Japan trip because I ran out of time. Hopefully I can bring my parents there one day and we can visit that spot together! Take care! 😊

Jeonju is very overated city. Most of building are recently built stores . Plus, its expensive. Its definitely not worth visiting.

Hey, thanks for dropping by! I kinda agree with you on some of the food they sell especially along the major roads, although prices are comparable to Myeongdong or Insadong. However, I think every tourist spot has a bit of that (ie tourist-trap kind-of area). If we look past that and really get to know Jeonju or the hanok village, we would realize how big its traditional cultural space is and just how historically rich it is. People who love history, culture, tradition, and food plus a less busy ambiance will love it there. ♥

For the sagano train, which side offer the better view ? The one on the left side or right side ? Thanks
@SukiinEconomy
@SukiinEconomy Ай бұрын
Hello!👋🏼 If you’re coming from Saga Torokko, I think it’s better to choose the right side so you will have a view of the JR Hozukyo Bridge and Hozukyo Torokko Station. But don’t worry if you run out of seats, because both sides offer an awesome view of the river and gorge 👍🏻
