Franklin just wanted to be happy, thats why he took it ao seriously. I lived a similar life to Franklins, no gangs or anything butmy family was consisting of drug addicts. Having something so horrid right in front of you all the time makes you truly dedicated to GTFO of there.

Ryder's betrayal wasn't planned. The voice actor got arrested so that's why they had to do that. And that's also the reason the betrayal is poorly executed in the game with no actual cutscenes for his final moments like Big Smoke's.

@@Yungspike2002 Yea. If you pay attention, CJ doesn't mention Ryder in the mission Green Sabre but only Smoke. Ryder isn't mentioned until Photo Opportunity. Which confirms that Ryder wasn't supposed to be in the cutscene in the Green Sabre
