Ah, this is the classic "you VS yourself" type of battle that used to be featured quite a bit in older games, like with Zelda 2 having the legendary Shadow Link fight at the end of the game and the Copy Robot from the original Mega Man. Axel Stone in SoR3 gets a double of himself in the form of a robot by the name of Break, the mission of which is to replace him and slander his name. The fight itself can be quite annoying since Break knows not only all of Axel's moves, but also has the ability to moonwalk, become much, much faster as he sustains more damage and he can use moves that even Axel himself doesn't know. Break can also use Axel's aerial team attack without needing a second partner for it. Making him straight into run into your hits can be very tricky and him constantly jittering around the stage makes it very hard to approach him head on, so the only way reliable way to go about fighting him without taking any damage is to use your special attacks when you're in danger and roll out of the way when he charges into you. The only thing I wish this fight had was the ability to change the robot copy based on which character you've played at the time of getting to the boss. What if you played as Blaze or Skate and you had to fight their robotic copies instead? What about Zan? How would he react to seeing something of his own work at the Syndicate be used against him? That way, this fight would have way more replayability and there'd be more variety for the end cutscene of the stage.
