Thanks. Trying a new style a bit outside of my norm for the Sept. 6th release.

I just think back to all the epic movies with Latin chanting choruses. The thing is, most of the time, you never really find out what they're saying. I took Latin in school years ago, so Google Translate actually came in handy here.

After listening and loving The Grand Play, I have started looking at your other stuff, and came across this gem. I am producing a film for a movie festival, and I'm sure that at least one of your tracks will be in it. I will credit your work as per your requirements. 🙂

I really like this. It deserves more views than it is getting. I've replayed it 6 times already (even reloaded the page first)

This track was supposed to be kind of a continuation of The Masquerade (kzbin.info/www/bejne/opumh4WqnZiSq5o). I've been really into the idea that life is all a play or a simulation recently. I have a track called The Simulation that will be out in August. It was a fun one to complete. A lot of the lyrics for some of these tracks echo in my head for months. I hope you enjoy.

@@EtherealTunesMusic I just played one after the other and could visualize the connection. I normally concentrate on cinematic music for background but I have to admit that even the lyrics are great. If you have a lot of lyrics echoing in your head, it must be huge 🙂Keep up the great work. I have subscribed, so will be looking forward to your new work whilst going through your other tracks.

We live in a 24/7 "news" cycle now. Not only do we get fed trash from our TV screens, but our ipads and iphones as well. Maybe it's time that we realize that constantly consuming the swill from all the news.com sites isn't healthy. It's as if we're constantly binging on junk food, while being told it's going to make us healthier.

These lyrics seemed to flow straight from my heart. Our culture seems to be pushing "progress" at warp speeds to make things "better." Although, it seems that the more we push, the more we sacrifice the good along with the bad that we had with our traditions and past. At the top of my mind as a father are all the things that are being pushed in schools and on our kids that are not ok, while sacrificing actual learning about math, history, real science, etc. Progress always seems to come with a cost. The road to hell seems to be paved in good intentions. How about we step back and stop sacrificing all of our past at the altar and realize, hey some of it is worth saving. Lets start salvaging it.

I've been a fan of Celtic style music like Loreena McKennitt, as well as the Enya style genre. I thought I'd try my hand on it. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for liking and subscribing. I wanted to post a little about the channel. I started the channel as a hobby. I've always wanted to make full blown songs. I've always been pretty good at lyrics and as my family and friends can attest, I have always taken popular songs and customized the lyrics, usually humorously. Although, with these tracks, I try to tell a story or put in some sort of a message. With the technology now, you can easily take song lyrics, add instruments and compose things pretty easily. The AI in many programs also helps, although it's not perfect. My favorite genre's are rock, alternative, and new agey stuff. I'm a fan of the Pure Moods CD's from the 90s. Smoke and Mirrors is the first track that I've actually really thought "hey, that's actually pretty good." It takes a while to compose each piece, sometimes several days to weeks. I always have a few in the queue. I'm actually very proud of the next few pieces and I hope you enjoy them as well. I also try to spread out instrumental pieces as I play around with different sounds and options.
