Hello, this was really informative video, but I have questions, if you can suggest by yourself the best master degree UX design programs in countries that can offer also a grant opportunity?
@Justeen15
@Justeen15 11 күн бұрын
Hii thank for the comments! I don't think I have the knowledge to answer that question haha, since there are so many schools with grants and I have not looked into schools for year. I bet many things changed. Yet, you can use ChatGPT or similar to do that research for you. Compile a list of 10 schools with the most grants, and then you can refine the schools based on how well their programs match your interests. There can be schools with full scholarships but the program is more graphic design related and you are into UX, so that might not be a great fit. I understand we want the best of both worlds, but I think there will be trade offs to make in the end. First step is still gather info though! ChatGPT or similar can be very handy :)

Yeah check 2:27 in the video. The upgrade is on the same screen where you check your level 3. I think it also has something to do with the investor profile you filled out. @@JessicaFranco1 Hiii! Sorry for the delay and thanks for getting back! To answer your question, no I have not got weird comments. At the same time, I made my video with lots of caution in mind so I don't share anything that's not public knowledge or things you cannot find on the internet, or places you can go in person. Some of the sensitive looking things I either replicated it in figma with similar visual or just created something new. Like the Google Meet, they are all my own accounts. As much as I want to share all details about my work, I do want to respect and protect anything confidential from my workplace :)

Great video, informative & funny at the same time! 😂 For Nvidia, does it matter that they pay a dividend when doing PMCC?
@Justeen15
@Justeen15 Ай бұрын
Hahah thank you! Glad to hear you seeing what I’m trying to do to 😂 there can be some impact: for the short call you sold, someone bought it from you. If they want to collect NVDA dividends, then they will exercise their call so they can own shares to receive dividends (not say this will happen for sure). Then you will need to adjust your position when that happens. It doesn’t mean it will happen for sure, there is just a possibility. If you use Robinhood, you might get a reminder email saying “Early Assignment Risk”, which is what I just talked about. At the same time, my current NVDA PMCC has a 149 short call, but NVDA stock is 138, so why would the buyer of my 149 call wants to exercise and buy 100 shares at 149 just to collect the dividend? They can just buy 100 shares at 138? Therefore, personally, I’m not worried about my short call get early assigned cuz when it’s OTM it’s not very likely IMO. Do more research on your own too so you can make a more informed decision :)

The computation is base on closing the long call in a weekly basis. Can you just keep the long call and keep selling calls weeekly?
@Justeen15
@Justeen15 Ай бұрын
@@edchristianaguinaldo3733 In the breakdown at 6:50, you don't close the long call. You only close the short call. The number just shows a weekly scenario for both long and short call, so you are correct there. Yet, the numbers for the long call are illustrative to show how it will change in price. You can still close it, but yes you are correct that the idea of PMCC is you keep the long call and keep selling short calls every week/month to profit :) Does that help?

I'm assuming that in scenario 1 the reason you would pay more money to pre-emptively close the call you sold is because you're concerned that the underlying stock price might rise later in the week, letting someone exercise and take your shares? Up until now I thought that when selling calls you always just waited for Friday hoping they'd expire worthless and you'd keep your premium. I didn't know you could pay to close your sold call early.
@Justeen15
@Justeen15 2 ай бұрын
Exactly, you don’t want your call to get exercised so locking in gain and exit the position early will help with that. You can wait until Friday and collect the last $10 or so, especially if you don’t mind the risk of getting exercised then it’s totally fine! There has been a saying of closing the short call after you reach 50% of the gain and that’s what scenario 1 covers too

Hi Justeen, this is a great video-thanks for sharing! By the way, I have a question. In projects, we often face constraints like time or budget, which can limit our ability to conduct thorough research. Do you have any tips on how to deal with these limitations?
@Justeen15
@Justeen15 2 ай бұрын
Nice meeting you and thank you! The first thing I would do is go back to manager/leadership and advocate for more time and budget to begin with. They have to understand the importance of the UXR I do, and how the reliability, validity, and conclusiveness of the finding depends on time and budget. I can do free user research that takes a day, but it does not contribute a lot of insights and data to the project and ultimate does not translate a lot to business value. Therefore I would be direct in terms of asking for more time and budget, and have a concrete num in mind. Then next if I really cannot actualize my original plan with the time and budget, then I have to get creative and strategic. Can I recruit the same amount of people with less cost? Maybe people internally that share similar end user traits? If I cannot do 20 people, I would do 10? 5? If I only have 2 days, can I get another coworkers to help me with the UXR? Once I can justify how important and valuable this research is, it should be easier to get more resources and people to help out.
