I saw them at the Villa Park show in the UK, which was awesome. Which was also awesome as Villa park is my football team’s stadium. As it was the last leg of their UK section of the tour , they got Geezer Butler from Black Sabbath, who actually grew up by the stadium, to do a cover of Paranoid.

Thank you for recording this, but seeing amyl and the sniffers play to such a small crowd makes me sad ☹ they are absolutely amazing and they deserve better. I'm seeing them in Birmingham uk in November 😀
@MrGraeme1997
@MrGraeme1997 5 күн бұрын
@@markc76 You’re welcome, and I agree. The reason for the small crowd was because this was a Foo Fighters concert and everyone was really there mainly to see them since that’s what the tickets for this show was really for, so Amyl and the Sniffers performing a couple of hours earlier on had to do with why we had such a small crowd during their set because more people only showed up and filled the stadium over time as the day had progressed to be sure they were all particularly there on time for the foos. If it had been a show that was mainly for Amyl’s band then there would’ve been a full crowd and everyone would’ve already been there. I however agree that a band like them does indeed know how to get a whole crowd going with their energy.

why is the stadium almost empty??
@MrGraeme1997
@MrGraeme1997 6 күн бұрын
@@Jirik1995 It wasn’t empty. It was just that it took time for everyone to get there before the Foo Fighters went on. Plus those seats and areas you saw in the stadium that were empty ended up being that way for a reason. The stadium did not allow anyone seats for that side because all the seats there were behind the stage so anyone who otherwise would’ve sat there would not have been able to see any of the bands on stage during the show and especially since there are no huge screens on display that could’ve faced them from the opposite side projecting the part of the stage where they would’ve been able to see the performers.

I'm sorry, but I don't think it's the same without Turner's vocals. Not even close. Roll on down the highway has been my favorite song since childhood, but I believe it's time for this band to move on. I still love Roll and listen to it during my heaviest deadlift sets, but respectfully, it's time to call it a day. This doesn't diminish my admiration for the band in any way. Still love then dearly. Indeed they were. Coming from New Jersey they also had another show the night before at the Wellmont theater in Montclair and that’s only 20 mins away and much closer to where I live. Would’ve enjoyed that show as well but I enjoyed this one just as much starting with how the everyone from the band realized that people were coming in late as a lot of them were coming from other places far from Westbury within the Tri-State and decided not to start the show until about half and hour later than originally planned, once everyone was seated. Very considerate of them. Another reason to love them and that venue. Also used to live in Westbury in Long Island for a while and therefore not being far from there at all, until I had moved back to Jersey almost 4 years ago. Plus having Ken Dashow from Q104.3 making a surprise guest appearance and giving an opening introduction to them made this one even somewhat better. Not sure if he was at the Montclair NJ show the night before and did the same there as well, but I do know someone personally who went to that one so I’d have to ask them.
