Thank God the media captured well what transpired between Dr. Afriyie and Mr. Bagbin. The latter was most disrespectful. Dr Afriyie began his statement with great amount of respect and decorum "with all due respect...." There was nothing disrespectful of Dr. Afriyie. He only pointed out the prejudicial remarks of the Bagbin. Nobody in parliament should lie to defend the speaker. The MP apologized to Speaker is not fair to Dr. Afriyie, He is not truthful to the people of Ghana. What Bagbin did was shameful to his office as speaker and it is disgraceful for any one to defend this senseless action.
