When discussing societal collapse, it’s nice to think of what will grown in its absence, however let’s not forget the human lives that will be lost.

BUT the collective values are still controlled by capitalism. Adele created the fans group because fans pay for her. CEOs advocate social responsibility cuz their customers buy the story. Capitalism will not disappear but gonna hide under all these covers. Hail Hydra.

Via Rebelwisdom I bumped on this great 15 minutes. The Bento box is simple and at the same time very powerful especialy in combination with the meditation. A good gift to the world. Keep up the great work. Am I allowed to do these kind of sessions and meditations with the Bento box in Dutch?

Yancey Strickler thank you for the rebel and wisdom lecture yesterday and allowing us to spend time with the strange concept of boxes. Being of always thinking outside the box, I was reluctant to participate with a box in linear thinking. My argument with most these processes is that we are taught to exaggerate in this ‘economy’, this is an ingrained culture we call ‘survival of the fittest’ and survival of the fittest makes the most ‘fitted box’ of projections. My random partner in the break out, was indeed my former self, and likely my mirror to study. What transpired was a list of big words with no tangible truth or achievable actions to measure. ‘spend more time with son’ ‘accommodate complexity’ ‘deep relations’ ‘compassion’ ‘solutions that involve complexity’ my own notes, ‘end individualism’. ‘bring only stories of significance and discovery’ plant at least one seed per day, either in another’s brain or in the garden, this is endless growth, not the present versions of endless waste. expect death and the failure of people, so we can again begin to take care of each other. In another note on the chat, I suggested the linkage to the ‘glass bead game’ as a partner process to this model, the glass bead game is a self reflective invitation in understanding one’s self conscious of ambiguities we are given to language and its meaning. Having studied ‘non violent communication’ and practiced it for many years, a newer dimension is possible in human discourse to avoid conflict from ambiguity. The world is full of ‘ism’ and all ism’s divide into eventual war of ‘the other’.

While this is a Western-centtic viewpoint, it is nevertheless highly relevent as long as the U.S. remains a world leader.

Happy to find this here. I love joining the live Bento group but at times am not ready to go live on Sunday at 9 am (though I highly recommend connecting to the community). Thank you for broadening the accessibility of Bento this way Yancey. Keep up the great work. P.S. I still advocate redefining "us" to simply be the present group if needed, for those of us who might be loners, by choice or circumstance.

Speaking as a Chinese but educated in the West, many academics, intellectuals, elites, etc have identified the problems that beset the west but not many politicians DO NOT know how to solve them. Most of the politicians are either intellectual midgets, would not care less about societal problems, political infighting, etc. This one of the reasons why the western capitalist and neoliberalism countries are experiencing the state of affairs it is now. In summary, I enjoy this talk.
