This is a beautiful painting, but I guess I thought there would be more pouring and manipulating with stretching. This is more like a watercolor painting done without a brush as many do.

I have a question; you said that the decoart paints are matte but the jars that you show are not matte. Is the black and purple not matte is just regular satin. Please explain. I really want to do one of this and I don’t want to waste the paint.

Have you tried other PMs? I have a few bottles of Amsterdam PM that I was thinking of using. Also have a few large containers of Creative Inspiration PM but I am assuming they would be a bad idea as that contains gloss varnish. Absolutely love your technique! You are an inspiration to me. 😊

Watching this a year after you posted it! When English weather allows me to resume fluid art (studio is garage and not heated) I’m going to try using this method for a set of coasters - very funky!

If people want to speed it up they can use the scrub bar. Don’t you change a thing. It’s very therapeutic to many.
