Ty for the video! Just a minor issue I had was, when it's the 31st and the next month doesn't have 31st, the next button increases the month by two. The workaround I used is setting the date to 1 before setting month+1 :D

Wait, there are CSS variables? This would also work really well as a loading animation for a rectangular part of a webpage or something. You also don't need to have a / in the elements without inside space.
