Great video and some fine cam work and choice of locations. I've never seen any vids from this line but there appears to be a very high standard of restoration with lovely stations and the signalbox looked great. All the locos looked immaculate but I wonder why they seemed to be so cautiously driven? I guess they'll have their reasons but that was a disappointing aspect of an otherwise excellent gala day. Hi Howard, I wish I knew sooner too! :p The railway runs the first weekend of each month, just type in "dockyard railway, chatham" to google and it should come up. The diesel doesn't seem to run much more than moving the steam locos though so wouldn't have thought it totally to your taste?! Cheers

Haha I thought you meant the continuity was a bit odd! The middle clip is Tenterden, I meant I didn't film elsewhere than what is featured so there wasn't much choice and liked to break up the Northiam shots. :) Thanks for watching and commenting as always!

Hmm I get your point, but this is the order it happened in the day and it felt odd to put it in any other order to me! I joined and left the train at Northiam and didn't film elsewhere.

Join the train at Northiam, run round at Tenterden and see it leave again at Northiam?

Thanks Mark. You have no idea hahaha, I did film at Bodiam and got rather damp for my efforts, and didn't bother adding the shots due to a very wet lense! It was a shame it was a bit miserable, but still a good day! As you can see on my channel, I enjoyed the sun at Chatham Dockyard on the Sunday instead! Thanks again.

Good film mate. I notice you were fortunate enough not to film at Bodiam; it was not very nice there at lunchtime. In fact it was a shame that out of the whole bank holiday only the weather on the Saturday was poor! Thanks for a cool reminder of a great day out!

Oh yes it will be packed! The Victorian gala was packed enough god knows how busy it will be at east grinstead. Will you be going to the Watercress Gala? City of Truro is 110 this year so i am purely going for that and the T9
