VOIP is definitely needed in this game...text chat just doesn't do it the way VOIP does! At minimum they can at least do ship to ship if they really don't want to do full VOIP but I'm hoping they do! full.

coding voice chat is easy, the issue is having thousands at the same time speaking between themselves its going to eat resources from the game. on the long run, i suspect they ll have it, but for now, they have more important things first and they ll check those other things after. infact for now they have to give every single milimeter of broadband and server capacity, to gameplay
