I made on this afternoon just to experiment, somehow I managed to shatter the mason jar because it got too hot. So people be careful the heat/flam is in the Center and not against the edge.

My white silkie hen loves being bathed and getting wet. She also loves rolling in fresh mud... My chickens live in my city backyard with a walk in chicken coop, the entire backyard has motion sensored lights so there aren't any predators, other than Mister Garrison. Mister Garrison is our neighborhood possum, I feed him in our front yard, he lets me pet him. I leave the coop open at night when the weather is nice because two of my silkies like sleeping on our back porch. Genos is our only white silkie. One night it was raining and I went outside to make sure Genos and Merlin were okay. Merlin was under the table on his perch, Genos was out in the cold rain digging for worms at 1am. She was completely dripping wet so I took her inside and put her in my dogs crate. I have a snake and multiple heat lamp domes and bulbs so I put one on top of the crate to warm her up. After about an hour she was completely dry so I put her back outside in her own coop. Our giant chicken coop has a smaller coop attached to the side, like a townhouse. Merlin and Genos stay away from the rest of the flock since 5 of them are their babies, they don't like to deal with their kids, they are retired. I put them in their own coop and they were good for the rest of the night! I have 10 spoiled backyard chickens. 3 are rescues, the rest are silkies. I raised Merlin and Genos since they were a day old, they have 5 chicken children and they are all black. I was expecting at least 1 white chicken since Genos is white. Merlin is black so all of the babies turned out black. Now I have little fluffy voids running around! Two of my rescue chickens are buff orpingtons, I have 1 rescues american game hen too, she was attacked by a rooster and the rooster took part of her comb off. She had a huge scab for a while but it fell off and it is completely healed. Now she has a bald spot. She bullies the rest of the chickens and pecks their butts. She is angry because she is bald. :(

if you bring water to boil then turning it off and sit the bottle in the water, you can evaporate the alcohol so the whole family can benefit
