Keep fighting for your wonderful family. My ASD daughter is 7 unfortunately school is a place where she is constantly bullied and the teachers seem to feel she deserves it because of her behaviour and communication issues. Best of luck to your family. I would contact HR at your work as this type of behaviour can be brought to the human rights board.

Have a look at the research on CBD (non. THC or with it as an alternative) as an option for your son's seizures. I've seen some really amazing results. My grandma uses the non thc CBD for neuropathy in her feet. She doesn't get any relief from pain medication, so the CBD was a revelation. I've been using it for anxiety and depression with mixed results depending on the brand and how I'm taking it (better results with edibles vs oil-both non thc).

hi, beth! what a great unboxing! thanks so much for sharing, everything was/is wonderful. i know you are bone weary so i hope your husband is up to the roller massage! i got some good news today - i had a kidney tumor removed last sept, new scan, all is fine - repeat scan in a year. they did get clear margins with the surgery. i'm just exhausted because i couldn't sleep much last night and it's a 1.5 hr drive to and from the specialist. phew, feeling lighter inside. huge hugs! ~k

You are a very strong woman. Thank you for letting us in and sharing with us. You did not fail, you got him at 16 and he already had his problems. I am so sorry for all the pain and strife you all have been through. I've had someone in my life who had similar troubles as Michael, and it is so so difficult to figure out day to day, moment to moment, what the "right" thing to do for them is, because it can literally change a hundred times a day depending on how their mood is and such. But I just want to say that it sounds to me like you and Ryan made the absolutely best decisions that you could. Also, I know it's tough in a situation like this, but please please, show the same kindness to yourselves as you have done for Michael. You are NOT failures here, not in the least. I 100% agree with you that this was by God's design, and you did exactly what God must have intended ... you showed Michael love and caring and empathy, and then you got him the help he so clearly needed but maybe never would have gotten for himself. If you did what God intended, there is no possible way you can call that failing. Much love to you all, and you will be in my prayers <3
