Lauren Marie Taylor who plays Stacey here on loving not only got killed off of the show but also wound up getting killed off of both movies Friday the 13th part 2 as well as the slasher film Girls night out which also goes by another title. Poor Lauren just can’t catch a break

The Cain storyline was a really poorly written. It seemed like they didn't know what do with it. There was no chemistry with Kim Zimmer either.

This show along with another world definitely deserved the same one billion chances that nbc gave days of our lives. That show always had a 1 point something rating but was yet allowed to stay on the air. It even made it to streaming. Heck they couldn’t even give generations a billion chances. Talk about favoritism.

This is infuriating knowing this was the day i was born. Cheating in all cases, feels natural to the choice of willing men who are raised to believe, what they are told, and, not men who are raised to know certainly what they believe. It’s a real shame that nbc gave up on this classic show now all we have left are four of the worst written soaps on television. The closing in this episode mentions the move of ATWT and GL on February 4, 1980. Both shows were bumped up half and hour for the expansion of the Young and the Restless to an hour. This led to Central Time Zone stations keeping Y&R at 11(then 11-12) and bumping Search for Tomorrow to 12:30pm in those markets, so they could keep their local news at Noon.

I'm glad Jerry Ver Dorn shaved off hus mustache. I was into All My Children at the time.

I watch for Reva , Kyle, and Alex.

That house band should've done a "winding down" part similar to how Paul Shaffer did it on Late Night/Late Show to have gotten the audience on its feet. SNL has done that since 1985.

Kyle was so handsome and Alex was so pretty.

On todays soaps 2024 you would never see light moments like this. People coming together to celebrate anything wheather it be st Patrick’s day Christmas thanksgiving new years etc just doom and gloom. Instead of x mas recently days of our lives chose to have Doug get possessed by the devil followed by Marlena. Yet this show is the one to get cancelled besides another world. Oh how do I miss the golden era of daytime 80s. The writing today on these shows is horrendous the days of light moments are gone. And what makes it really bad is that none of the producers or writers of these shows want to take responsibility for the decline in daytime instead they want to blame outside forces like the work force or streaming devices etc. no accountability. No wonder the numbers are really bad. Who wants to respect individuals who want to blame others and not admit any guilt
