What carabiner id that for your tether? Im looking to try saddle hunting soon. Welding up a step and platform this weekend. Bought a saddle from my local sporting store.

I switched from lock on stands and climbers to a saddle system this year. I’m in my late 60’s and tired of dragging metal stands all over Gods creation. I set up same as you and really like the simplicity so far not to mention the weight savings. Thanks for the video.

I have 5 out right now. I dont feel like im getting all my photos. Our ranch is remote and my cell phone is usually SOS. I show I have signal but not great on the cameras. Something tells me Im only getting phots when there is enough signal... I also did not put in SD cards, do I need them? Thanks!

Question. On your a steps. The Amsteel rope. Do you have a prusik cord tied to rope them use the loop for the button? If so are the steps more secure like that versus the cinch strap that comes with some?

I dont understand why people just dont buy arborist saddle and spikes, double flip line, i can climb up 80ft in 3 minutes if theres no branches….easier setup, safer…one lifeline is risky…

Because spiking a tree can kill it maybe not a dinosaur of an oak or pine but a thin bark tree will die from cambium being exposed from spiking.

Super buck, congrats! Love where he mentioned how finicky the deer are in NW Wisconsin, it's totally true. On some of the big public land areas, the deer are the most skittish I've ever seen. Their only exposure to people is when they're being hunted and there are tons of wolves. They won't tolerate anything! Which buck is Breadstick?

Sheriff is a buddy of ours and he wanted to check out the buck! As for the pictures, we run a video production and photography business, so it’s part of the job. We knew rain was coming so had to try and knock it all out as quick as possible. Thanks for watching!

@@whitetaildna I gotcha! I seen some nice Mics on TikTok shop and when the dude demoed them they cut the wind out a LOT! Idk I’m not that tech savvy when it comes to camera stuff. Either way, loved the video. Especially since it was a longer one. That’s GREAT for throwing up on the TV and chillen in bed. lol keep the long ones comming!!!

Actually, 5 of the most northern counties in state you can bait in. Over 10 different counties allow you to bait in Wisconsin. Thanks for the comment!

Unless it’s within 50 yards of his house the warden will be there soon. 24hrs prior to hunting season for placing bait or within 50 yards (which maybe it is but didn’t look like it)… lol. Gotta love it. The baiting regs are only 2 pages long and spell it out pretty simple.

No it's not. He's very likely in the same county as me and it's legal to bait and feed deer here. I don't do it personally because it takes away what's fun about hunting for me, but most people around here use bait.
