For her horse to get that jiggy and confused at the end of the performance tells me something. He was (mentally) wound up in knots the entire time.

Dressage is the high grade where everything have to looks like pretty lightweight and easy with a smile on the face and absolute correctness in exercises. This isn’t wonderful anyway. U see a horse that rebels obviously and a rider that disciplines her horse very unhidden. The horse's back isn't even able to carry itself through the whole body. The horse isn't concentrating in a real correct way. It looks perfectly like a marionette puppet. What's really ‘wonderful’ is the fact this rider still winning medals.

Pluvinel never would have allowed himself to hold a horse in an artificial collection for more than several minutes at a time. He understood the kind of tension that occurred in the entire cervical area of a horse’s spine and in her whole muscle system.

I agree. She asks way too much. The horse was exhausted before the end. She is a wonderful trainer and rider but needs more empathy with the horse.

All I saw was soft listening ears and excited tension. Encouraging pats and what horse at that elite level of fitness can’t do less than 10 minutes of hard work with breaks in the walk and extended .

I agree Sharon it’s not as if she starts off working at this level! You build up to it this horse is fit fluid and seems happy to work. Such beautiful reach in the lateral work beautiful spring in the collected work. 🥰

Die Hinterhand schleift immer irgendwie hinterher, bei der Pirouette kommt die Hinterhand nicht mit, wirkt schlaff. Das Pferd geht nicht auf der Hinterhand. Aber wie auch...

Falscher Knick,hohe Kruppe,schlagender Schweif,versammelter Schritt fast reiner Pass,eben rollkurtrainiert.Dazu unpassende Dudelmusik - wonderful???

Im Schritt tritt er nicht einmal in den Abdruck des Vorderfußes. Mal abgesehen von deutlich sichtbarer Hilfengebung. In der spanischen Hofreitschule sieht Du nichts von Hilfengebung. Ich weiß gar nicht, warum so gejubelt wird.

I attended and was sitting very near the camera location. I have been at five World Cup finals (Las Vegas 2005, 2007, 2009, 2015 and Omaha 2023) This was by far the 'deadest' audience I have seen at the World Cup Finals, primarily due to the fact that nearly half of the seats were empty. I assume they were bought either by corporate sponsors or scalpers, because I couldn't get any seats nearer the ring when I attempted to buy. Whoever had the seats either didn't show up or get people to come out. It really dampened the audience reaction. Hope it's better in Fort Worth in 2026.

MAGNIFIQUE. Le cheval est Grandiose et sa cavalière Sublime. Le trot cadencé et relevé est hypnotique. Et la musique de Queen qui rythme parfaitement les allures de ce Champion apporte la touche finale à cette prestation magique. Mais... pourquoi changer autant de musique ? Ça fini en salade composée et fait perdre beaucoup de charme à la reprise. Votre cheval semble être fait pour des tempos frappés. En tout cas, c'est à ces moments que j'ai eu le sentiment qu'il pouvait exprimer tout son talent et sa beauté. Bravo à Vous Deux 🎉
