Goddamn! I’d forgotten how goddamned good this band was! One of my first ever albums in the 60’s was one of theirs. Still great music!

I remember reading The Book Version of Grease and it took place in New Jersey, and Sonny Latierri and Danny Zuko did a working vacation in Atlantic City. The Soul Survivors Expressway to your heart may have been mistaken for them.

What a beautiful voice...no autotune, no warbling, no gravelley frog-in-the-throat, no yelling yelping yowling howling screaming out-of-breath nonsense....just a beautiful clean sound...I love it...thank you...

Nice to hear Fred Foy again! Dick was awarded a "Giant of Broadcasting" a few years back in a ceremony in NYC. He gave the most entertaining acceptance speech,. I attended the ABC show in the theatre many times.

I don’t get the appeal of the formerly Young Rascals or The Rascals in general. Other than a catchy song or two they’re just not as significant as other artists of the era. They’re a derivative of The Beatles. Heavily influenced by them but nowhere near as good. Songs weren’t as catchy. Writing was not as compelling. And not as prolific in hits, durability or record sales. It’s no coincidence it took them this long to get in. They’re lucky to have made it.

1966, I was 11ish and they rented an abandoned store across the street from me in Lodi, NJ. I believe now that they were rehearsing for that Ed Sullivan appearance. Good Times in Another Lifetime. RIP DINO.

My first real Rock 'N Roll concert. August, 1967 @ The Virginia Beach Dome. The Rascals mesmerized me then, and still do today. I made it a point to introduce Rascals music to my kids. If you're here, you most likely did as well. How in God's name did it take until 1997 for this great band to be inducted into The Hall?

I saw the Rascals at Idora Park in Youngstown, Ohio in the mid 60s. Great show. Stevie did a tremendous tribute to the band's induction to the R&R Hall of Fame.
