@JohnV_Actual4 күн бұрын
Thats correct. While facing down range, you can shoot anything within 180° but my muzzle crossed the threshold and that is an automatic DQ per the rules.

Clearly a 180 trap stage. Speed shooting is borderline realistic to begin with and stages like this make it a circus show.
@JohnV_Actual5 күн бұрын
It's hard to say that it was a trap. I would say it forces you to retreat into the right position though. In the right position those targets are inside 150. I just rushed my grip.

Transition between targets weapon pointed down then then start to present weapon to second target in safe direction. Maybe it’s just the video angle but I don’t see what’s wrong.

I love watching it but i dont actually understand the rules and why you got disqualified. Did you run past the 2nd shooting spot?
@s.k.7889 күн бұрын
In most action shooting sports. You are not allowed to swing the gun past 180° from the firing line, in order to keep the spectators and other shooters safe. This is called the 180 rule and you can Google or yt it if interested. It appears that Mr. V Just barely broke that line when he was sprinting back and rebuilding his grip to his second position. It's a tough call, and every now and then, people build stages in such a way that there are 180 traps. If you are not careful. Action shooting is still a wonderful thing to get into and it will make you a better shooter and decision maker

Greg Thompson's SOCP has in my opinion ALWAYS been one of the best urban carry "fighting knives" ever made. Lots of imitators, but none match the carry system, and the ergos literally have to be experienced to understand. Once you ACTUALLY stab something, you'll realize exactly how much thought was put into that design. Seems simple...but it's definitely not. SOCP is in a class by itself.
