Sorry you don't find any humor in it. I was more making a joke about the fact that we hadn't had any rain in NJ for almost 2 months. But hey...can't please everyone. I would think the music is more important. I understand if you don't find it funny. That's ok. That's what makes this world so great. Others might find it hilarious. I've only been to NYC once and only saw one Broadway show. When I was 17, four members of my high school's drama club and our teacher traveled from Dayton, Ohio to 5th & Broadway, NYC on Thanksgiving weekend 1977. The city was ablaze in Christmas decorations. There we had the tremendous privilege of watching the original cast of Annie. It was amazing. Andrea McArdle will forever more be my Annie.

Funny Shelley's voice sounds better than back in her Annie days while Andrea's is good but she added lots of weird facial expressions and some changes in her rendition JMO

No one ever sang this particular song better than Shelley Bruce. Although not as technically gifted as Andrea, she managed to connect with the lyrics better than all of the rest.
