There are no tips babe, so great you want to upload a photo of yourself 'but do it with the tips. Otherwise, it looks like you want complements.

Actually I have a question : how to handle a client that speaks a lot or how to manage makeup while talking with the client?
@AngieDiB11 күн бұрын
That becomes easier to handle with time and practice. As you get more comfortable and confident - the talking won't be so bothersome as most clients talk through the entire application. When it gets to doing lips or contour or powdering where you need them to stop talking just ask them to stop talking for a moment and then carry on.

Nice… thanks for the advice. I agree and find that relaying to a client where we are in the process and our time we have helps tremendously. And you actually feel good in a positive way rather than being nasty about it. Growth power is beautiful when mastered in self.

Do you know what brands have glossy mascaras in the drugstore? All the mascaras I have are matte and look grey even though they are blackest blacks
@AngieDiB20 күн бұрын
That I'm not sure about drugstore - but if you found they are all grey you may want to check out Isehan Heroine Mascara - it's a Japanese mascara you can find on Amazon and it is really really really dark.

Hi, salon makeup artist here. I've always appreciated your content and have just come by to listen again now and what a great refresh. This is getting me to think differently. I have things setup really simply and am now realizing I need to setup a few different brackets to make it appealing for all needs. Thank you for having a place to continually come to for an upgrade.

Sending lots of hugs to you and your family, Angie. I am so sorry for your loss. I really admire how you just keep going and get back to "work", while going through whatever you are going through inside. Truly inspiring. I feel like I really needed that today, I'm really at the beginning so there's a lot of rejections going on..as expected😅 Thank you for this episode. ❤ I wish you and your family the best.

Thank you so much! Yes - just keep it moving, the rejections will always be there but there will be fewer and they will feel less devastating if you keep going. Promise!

Do I really need a lot of brightness if it’s close proximity to face❓ I’m scared w the panel it will b like a blinding light then the makeup will translate differently IRL
@AngieDiB2 ай бұрын
I personally need brightness for work and for content. I’ve worked on jobs with absolutely no light and anything smaller would have been a problem. But it will all depend on the type of work you do. These can be dimmed as well.
@lindaantebi9552 ай бұрын
I def want to hv an option to clamp on table, suction to a side panel like mirror or fridge. (A phone clamp too is a plus👍🏼) Can I buy just the light + these ^ 2 little mounts WITHOUT tripod stand.
@AngieDiB2 ай бұрын
You can buy the lights and mounting options separately.

Eyelight vs keylight. Pros and cons? Which gives better/more lighting for bridal application. Not for filming just make up application
@AngieDiB2 ай бұрын
The type and placement of the lighting that we need for quality content is actually the same lighting that we would need for makeup application so it's a win win! The lighting quality with The Makeup Light is going to be great regardless of the panel that you get, and both will be bright enough for a makeup application. What you need to look at is the shape of the lighting panel and how that is going to fit into your workspace. I just got an Eyelight and it is great when you are working in places like hotel rooms, studios because you can place it like a vanity light across the top of a mirror. The shape of the light is perfect for that. I just have a preference of being able to have two smaller panels (key light) that I can mount pretty much anywhere without much trouble because I work in a lot of very small spaces and the size is perfect.
@brittanyafkarian51722 ай бұрын
Thanks Angie! I was looking at lighting options yesterday. Do you prefer panels over bar lights? I’m looking for something that’s a little less expensive.

Mehron Skin Prep Pro - what is the order of application please? I feel like no matter how I use it it pills like crazy 😅
@AngieDiB2 ай бұрын
Skin prep pro has to go on completely clean, dry skin, and then foundation goes on top. No skin prep with that one is best.
