I love Spilling the Milk, but I absolutely agree with you- I’m glad someone else talked about this! It is such a blatant way to make money off of the same people who have seen the content individually. Compilations should be more transformative- if you’re just putting the same videos back to back, make a playlist instead!

It really is just a sly way for channels to make money smh. The crazy thing with STM is they put the long form compilation IN THE PLAYLIST WITH THE OTHER VIDEOS!!! I appreciate the watch too :)

I really don't get why these channels are opting for mega videos. A certain channel I watch has been doing it lately and I can't see the interest. Regular viewers aren't interested because they've seen it all before, and new viewers aren't interested because the video is too long to digest effectively. I feel it's not transformative enough to warrant the meta; playlists exist and are more digestible. These videos are just, as you say, background noise. Then again, my background noise is just my Watch Later playlist, which you found yourself on!

Had to recently sell off my CD/Vinyl collection. Had over 40+ CD's and at least 10 vinyls. There is nothing better than physical media.

I genuinely have never heard of this app and i was huge into the internet back in 2017. Reminds me of the Domino's Hatsune Miku app that just randomly appeared in Japan and disappeared into irrelevancy without a trace.

well yeah, the whole point is that its a test of patience and that your pool of pokemon is limited if you dont want to spend even longer trying to find something powerful, especially if it's a gift pokemon or something like it. literally the whole point is that they're meant to be tests of patience, they never say they're super skilled unless it's in a specific method, or getting encounters faster that usual, which would include skill.

Hey i respect it. Waiting is a challenge of patience i suppose. I was more in the realm of thinking of how other challenges tend to push you to think wisely ab each decision where shiny hunting is kinda its a method and you do it and get lucky. Appreciate the insight tho :)

As an avid shiny hunter I agree with your points iv actually watched a few shiny only playthroughs from others and I agree they call it a challenge but there are no methods that are truly difficult it’s just a waiting game if anything just tests your paitence. Iv been stuck on my first ever shiny starter hunt for a while now but yea speaking as a shiny hunter I agree with your points about shiny hunting especially the just seeing the shiny and seeing how long it took portions. I’m using my old cartridge of pokemon ultra moon to try getting back into shiny hunting we shall see how it goes lol

@@ItsOnlyTeo haha they used to be but it’s probobly my fault for going after sutch and potintially time consuming hunt right of the rip what a way to get back into pokemon lol. Booted up my og cart of pokemon ultra moon and decided to go after my first shiny starter if only I knew what I was in for lol. The rest of the hunts going to be short by comparison that’s for sure

As far as i know it doesn't matter how many pieces of golden armor, you have on but if you mine gold or open a chest near a piglen they will attack you regardless

Dang I am quite a Scott fan thats quite a compliment! And gen 2 def has some interesting time based choices for sure, but nothing i felt really stopped you from progressing in terms of beating the game, but def slows you down from seeing the whole game.

Very fun video. I actually did something similar a while back, but I didn't make it into a whole video like you did. I just uploaded my run that I put on the leaderboards. I was specifically grinding for a 69th place though. So, that was fun.
