Nice. Very early Kraftwerky. That's a compliment, by the way. Any chance you're using our old Moog MG1 on this track......?

@@jimsebastiansharman No, I cheated and used Ableton Live and a few VST plug-ins! It was one of those things where rather than deciding if I wanted to ape Air or Neu!, I just went for both.

Early Human League is the coolest music from this era as well as the image. Oakey’s haircut was a total one off and quite outrageous even now, makes his band mates look like Bank Clerks or something 👏😂

a fellow I worked with at the university radio station back in the 80s said to me "and he can actually sing". how very true...he could sing.

kind of known this tune for years but never paid much attention its been on absolute radio a few times after all these years im like wow!!!! im actually interested to know which act invented this kind of screaming tone of vocal style that was popular in the 80s?

The most influential "unknown" band. I saw them in the late 80s at the Bottom Line in New York and was AMAZED. I expected them to become super popular. Whoops, wrong again. Still, I hear so many new bands and think to myself, "Nice try, but Durutti Column did that better". BTW, how great is that drummer?!

Wow what an incredible creative communicator , sharp like flint , flows like colours into each other , can not believe I've never heard of this band and songstress before discovering her through the equally wonderfully expressive Martin Jackson . Where have I been ....on another Planet ? ;D

What a voice! What a phenomenal voice! Every era produces videos that looks funny out of time but listen to that voice and the song writing - absolutely phenomenal... And I think it helps if you know the story behind the song which was one of Billy's family telling him about a party where two teenage girls turned up who were so out of it and out of control that the whole party was scared of them. If you put that tension in the song or them catherine-wheeling out of control, you see it even better - that was the Party that feared two. I absolutely bloody love this song.
