I've had pain in the upper left side of my abdomen ever since I had covid 2 &1/2 years ago the pain started as a severe cramping or "pulling sensation," as if something was pulling all of the muscles in that area inward, from the inside. It also sometimes feels like I swallowed a bone(although I've NEVER done this intentionally 😅)and it's stuck in that area. And I can feel a slight swelling in that area. But the funniest thing, is that of all of the diagnostic & imaging tests that I've had, including with contrast, they still have not found what I've described to them. This is what I'm afraid of too. (Besides bieng put to sleep )that I'm going to go through with this, and AGAIN I'll be disappointed, because they won't be able to find whatever is causing my discomfort & pain. I know my body & when something is wrong.😢

I really hope that they can find SOMETHING. Because I don't want to sound crazy.

What if your not stressed and get this? Like I had Covid and now I have pain in my stomach for about 11 months and pains everywhere and my doctors think it’s this but I’m not stressed or anything and it came on out of nowhere 😢

i used to go here when i was younger. we walked in through the spinning glass doors, always walked past the weird paintings and art. we'd sit and wait as we were called for whatever it was we were their this time-my NF, my sisters myasthenia, my brothers seizures. it was always so pretty to walk through, and it was always a joy to see that ball machine, and to hear it make the funny little noises as the metal balls moved throughout the machine. even though i hated being there before, i miss those memories. i hated it there, and yet i have this want to go back there just to see it again and have the old memories. thanks, mates, for taking care of me and my siblings when we needed it. i wish i could repay you. you probably saved our lives so many times, and i was to young to even understand why my sister was in the doctors. i can never give back enough as a thank you. -a young man you probably saved.

I had to wait a long time (Probably around 5 months idk) for my endoscopy, but it wasn't nearly bad as I thought it would be. The procedure only took about 15-20 minutes. If you want to read what happened (looked at the other paragraphs below): Once I was in the room I was definitely panicking but I tried not to panic. They didn't even notice I was panicking. But anyways they told me to lay down and then they put a mask on me for laughing gas which just calms you down and you don't feel pain (I know that for sure because that was the 2nd time I have had laughing gas both times I felt no pain. But this was the first time I was actually being asleep during the procedure). At this point, it felt as if I stood up and couldn't see a thing for a sec. But I did see it's just I saw the dots like you would if that happened. It just felt a little weird because it was as if I was slowly drifting to sleep or something. but I still saw what they were doing and heard what they said. Around 20 or so sec later that effect wore off and I felt less tired and the dots left. But while all of what you read was happening they also said what they were putting on me (Next paragraph): They gave me an oxygen thing that was a thin tube on me (not in me). Then they poked something in me for anesthesia (which didn't hurt I barely felt it). Apparently, when they put anesthesia it feels col in that spot. For me, it didn't. They did some other things as well because they told me everything they did. I remember everything they said but that would take time to type all that here. Anyways my eyes were still open Then my eyes opened as if I had just closed them but I didn't (apparently I did I just didn't notice). And then they said it was over and I didn't say any weird stuff after. I know that because I remember opening my eyes. The whole time the doctors were nice.

This is such a great video. I would appreciate if it didn't reference forming in your mother's tummy, since that's not where a fetus actually grows and it might be particularly confusing in an educational film about abdominal pain. It's also not particularly inclusive of families who are less educated about using mother language when referring to a biological parent vs an adoptive parent or those who used a gestational surrogate. I think a simple edit that states, before you were born when you were still forming in the uterus or simply forming.
