Great to have you advance the quality of our education even though it isn't coming cheap. After all ignorance is expensive.

Is there going to be a rugby field?
@xetalq5 ай бұрын
Can't rule it out, but Charterhouse School literally wrote the rules to Association Football, attending the meeting at the pub in Blackheath when the rule of football were formalised and adopted back in 1863. Both the concept of dribbling in football and even the word "soccer" were invented at Charterhouse. As a consequence, Charterhouse has always been a football (rather than a rugby) school, so although - as I say above - a rugby field can't be ruled out, Charterhouse Lagos is more likely to boast football pitches.

Is this the $40k a year school? Everybody better be en route to Harvard, Yale and Cambridge (on scholarship)!

The plan is to build befiting universities students from this schools can also go to after graduation here in Nigeria.

@@longwellsfarm834 Americans are reconfiguring their education system under cries that education is overpriced and bloated. And Nigerians import a british $40k per head school. Madness. I get that it is private, so all good. We should be going the route of democratic learning leveraging mobile/online technology.

@@fistandpen2505 as someone who did primary and some secondary school here then left this whole thing is sketchy but i get its just for the 1% wealthy, why would a primary schl need a lot of this i understand secondary but this benefits us in little to no way, a fine school like st saviors is ok

@@youme1414 has to be the most brain dead take i have ever read in my life, average nigerian thinngs sha what else was i expecting from a population with subpar education on average? why am i surprised lmao. "it has been scaled down to give poor quality...." HUH? is your brain vacant or are you just trolling? name one school architecturally (mind you it's not even complete yet) that is better than this school that is a Nigerian school, name one, i'm waiting. it's literally a uk style architecture that they have over there but that apparently isn't enough for you, you also want them to build a palace here, pave all the roads for you, and give free education. nothing will ever satisfy people like you i swear

Meanwhile nigerian billionaires are sending their kids outside the country to study when they could do such investemebts at home.
@aframaco94917 ай бұрын
That's a bit unfair! Firstly you can't dictate to people how they should conduct themselves or how and where they should spend their money! Not everyone must be or do things in Nigeria! Secondly, as an example, the United States is an automobile manufacturing country, yet Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Mercedes Benz, BMW , all foreign made vehicles , are some of the most popular car brands that are greatly sought after in America . The U.K. owns the Bentley , Rolls Royce, and the Range Rover brands, yet Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini , other foreign brands, are very popular there! Thirdly, a lot of Nigerians from all walks of life( particularly the lower life) jaakpa to foreign countries, quite often without any proper skills or concrete qualifications! That being said, there are a lot of very wealthy people whose children already study in some of our private schools and universities in Nigeria! Facts!! It is what it is! 👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!

There are many billionaire kids who study in Nigeria, Majority of them do their primary and secondary education here and that's what charterhouse is based on, it's the tertiary stage that needs the investments
