May I know which soft box and studio light you were using? Thank you

Is there a benefit in having rectangular soft boxes for certain product photography? i.e. for rotation?

Genuine question here! What purpose does the flash on the camera have when you take the photo if there is a softbox facing the product already? Thanks!
@Calibrepics2 жыл бұрын
There's no flash on the camera. There's only one soft box for lighting.
@Zondaa2 жыл бұрын
@@Calibrepics Oh! So it’s the light in the soft box which flashes brighter for a second? The constant light is just a ‘guide?’ Thanks!
@Calibrepics2 жыл бұрын
@@Zondaa The flash is a broncolor studio lighting. The constant light is a modelling lamp to preview lighting effect, its not meant for exposure.

F10. FFS! I have had Rawon Sony A7Rii’s and a Canon 5DSr. The Sony is NOT sharper than the Canon, does not resolve as well and it’s colour is nowhere near as good, greens sometimes barely rescuable. That’s why they were traded out. High iso is better, true. BTW how much does a my system and lenses cost?! Seemed like a very biased and botched review.

you put a garbage lens on Canon. Put a 35L II or Zeiss and it would be fair. Test like that is useless unfortunately... cheers

Excellent sir. But may i know where that flash when you take a shot come from?. Coz what i know you only use one light from that softbox
@MichaelRoninTV4 жыл бұрын
The softbox is the flash, it has what's called a modelling light which just acts as a normal light so you can see what you're doing. Once you take the photo the modelling light turns off and becomes a flash/strobe. I hope that helps :)

Thanks for the super informative video. I was wondering if the picture is even affected by the continuous light coming from the soft box or is it just the strobe that lights up the object?
@Calibrepics4 жыл бұрын
Its only from the strobes. Camera set at 1/125 f/16 Iso 100. The ambient light would not affect the shot
@AutoFOCUSED.4 жыл бұрын
This just made no sense. You have to use equivalent lenses. How is anyone supposed to take this serious?
@Calibrepics4 жыл бұрын
They are equivalent lenses. Standard 'normal' fixed focal on all of them. A lot of commenters have overlooked the fact you CANNOT mount a 35mm FF lens on a medium format.
@AutoFOCUSED.4 жыл бұрын
@@Calibrepics No. It's not the fact you're not using the same lens. In the video I believe you're using either a zoom lens (which rarely, if ever, are as sharp as primes) or what appears to be a Canon 50 1.4, which also is not a sharp lens. You should have at least been using the Sigma 50 Art.
@phutranxuan14632 жыл бұрын

*I got into streaming a few months ago and🔹>**imgs.love/HSoftbox?mn** wanted a green screen set up. I was able to rig up some of the lights I owned to get it "satisfactory," but it just wasn't enough for me. So I searched for lights like these and I have to say, they have made a WORLD of difference. The price versus value is SPOT ON. They are super easy to setup (took me maybe 2 minutes?), sturdy, and PERFECT brightness. It has just increased the quality of my stream ten fold. Anyone reading this: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.*

Did you use the zoom on the Canon while using primes on the medium format and Sony? If so, a waste of a test. High end primes on them all is an even comparison. And the 5dsr was never made to shoot high ISO. So not surprising about that outcome. Funny how everyone loves Canon color science over Sony and you somehow got it the other way around.
