Such an exciting year to come for you! I’ve been a bit of a “silent sub” for a while, but HAD to comment this time 😊. I am working on too many Wips! Lol. A pattern test (sewing together), a new pattern (snake), and a Tunisian freestyle. I def recommend a hexagon cardi! I made one this year after less than SIX MONTHS as a crocheter (of only plushies at that point)! It was SO FUN and SO EASY! I followed the free pattern & tutorial by Toni at TL Yarn Crafts, but there’re oodles out there. You’ll smash it & be hooked, like me. Happy New Year! ☺️ cheers 🫶🏻🧶🥂 xx

Happy New Year! Yes, would love to watch the Wedding preparations. On your honeymoon you could create a Canadian Moose pattern!! I am not a crocheter but I am a knitter and spent the first half of 2024 doing the UKCA testing and my goals for 2025 are to do more testing on different toys and I would love to get my items into a shop, but no idea where to start on that! X

Say you had a small version of a toy and a large version of a toy. Could you just test the small version as it’s the same toy or would you also have to test the large version?

I am not 100% sure with this so it would need a bit of researching into but I would say especially with the flammability it's possible that the bigger size May burn quicker if that's the case, the bigger size would need to be tested

Thanks for commenting I'm glad you enjoyed! You are right! I have since learnt you cannot sell "named" products for example copyright a Disney characters name or Pokémon etc when selling patterns or plushies the only way round this is to call it another name of your own

@ It’s a minefield isn’t it. I’m going to disneyworld and want to crochet some Disney ears and sell some too.. there’s loads of people on Etsy that sell them but not sure how due to copyright :/ not sure if I was getting the wrong end of the stick lol x

Shipping overseas sucks 😢. Plus now it’s so difficult to send to Ireland since the new legislation, that lots of UK based independent business aren’t shipping there now. Well done on the sale though, and being so gracious about the learning curve!

Would you tell me how you hid the knot after pushing the ends of the black yarn into the muzzle at 20'40", please? It seemed like you tied the knot above a white yarn but the knot somehow disappeared in the shot after.

Hi there! Thanks for commenting I'm glad you've enjoyed the video!! To his the knot all I do is use my yarn needle and push it into the muzzle as you can see me starting to do. Let me know if you have any more questions!!

I have had to stop shipping out of the UK, as it was costing £18 for 100g of yarn to be sent. USA, Australian and shipping to Ireland costs the same. It's vile the amount we get charged.

@@dansaunders8390 I tend to just get my yarn from hobby craft purely out of laziness (it's the closest store to me) but there are loads of yarn options on Amazon, or little craft stores. I mainly use what's called chenille yarn which is thicker/fluffy yarn - loads can be found in hobby craft!
