Your best bet on the Apple Watch is find a busy repair store that is not an Apple service store and sell it to them for parts with your receipt from the unit. It’ll be worth a fraction less for the price, but those guys will harvest the screen case and other parts for repairs. Don’t bother with big chain stores or the like, they won’t touch them for the liability that they are stolen. If you know someone that you commonly do business with and you establish a relationship with on other items and is willing to see you’re KZbin videos all the better. Then just always bring all your electronics to them. Otherwise they don’t know you from the random meth head down the street stealing watches for $10/ea

@@BizEBody Nope but I have known people in the resale business. I personally would NEVER drive for a 3rd party delivery service. Too many hoops and hassles and generally bad customers. I would be seriously pissed if someone threw food on me.That one reason I could never do that job I 1099 contract out to a small deli/fruit stand north of Boston that does fruit baskets and catering and offers a delivery service. I and one other person handle all the deliveries. We are paid a set rate...the farther we drive the more we get. I have been into Boston a few times to hospitals and office buildings.(these trips pay well...but not as well as a trip to Nahant I get $60 for that) Most customers tip very well. Some situations I have been in proper etiquette (like delivering a gift meal to a grieving family from one of their friends) is not expect a tip and to politely refuse if one is offered unless they "insist" then I will accept it. I have only had one bad customer and all she was mad about was that I was 15 minutes late to the delivery because of a wreck

@BizEBody21 күн бұрын
I will use round numbers, just to give you an example: Say you did a pizza order and the food cost was $50. The customer gives you $60 cash and the base fee was $5. DoorDash will subtract the $5 base fee they paid you, meaning you now owe them $45. You get to keep your base fee paid to you, and in this example, you keep $10 in tips. The order would be worth $15 to you.

I totally agree with your findings here on the video. I am a Door Dash driver and when I started driving Door Dash, the per order fee (lowest amount we would get was $3.25) that was in Jan 2023. Slowly over time that has now gone down to $2.00 per order and if stacked DD will display it as a $1.00 per order + $1.00 per order = $2.00 for a stacked order. Last night, Saturday, April 20 was the first time in a while that I made over $100.00 for about 3.89 hours of work. So, if you round that up to 4.00 hours div by $100.00 = $25 per hour sounds like good money. I had to go through several crappy $2.00 for 4 miles or $3.75 for 6.25 miles orders and a couple of decline orders to get to some higher paying orders. Then after I had crossed the $109.36 mark that is when the crappy orders started to come back. So, I ended my dash with 4 hours and 18 minutes of work time under my belt. Earlier that evening, I did decline a higher paying order for $16.50 going about 22 miles, I know that sounds sort of crazy but that was including the 3.6 miles I would have to go to get to the grocery store. The drop off point was to a house almost out of the DD zone which is to the north of the DD zone I deliver in. Reason why I got it was it is a shop and pay (grocery order) that DD drivers in that other zone do not want to do, because (politely saying - English is not their first language) and they do not want to drive the longer distances either! I did learn how the accepting or declining of orders works. So, it seems like everything is based off the last 100 deliveries. The 100-delivery rule, if you get an offer that does not make sense - typically I view all the deliveries in a monetary sense. If it does not make sense monetarily example $2.00 for 6.8 miles, or if it a shopping order from Dollar General that I was just there about an hour earlier, and saw how the store was out of stock on just about everything. I will decline these orders! Based off the 100-delivery rule, if you decline this offer, Door Dash will either take a percent away from you or not take a percent from you if your previous order that was 100 orders ago was either accepted or declined. So, if you accepted that order 100 orders previously, and now you are going to decline this order they will not take a percent away from you. If you declined that order 100 orders previously, and now you are going to decline this order they will take a percent away from you.

@BizEBody - In the DFW area, I work in The Colony zone, a good mix of people from all demographics, and some no tips to really great tips!! I try to focus as I said before as does this make monetary sense. I understand and know that I am not going to get rich (big ole tip) on every order and I am fine with that. But when out of the blue a customer notices that I always bring their order in the supplied DD bag or a bag that I have bought on Amazon. Says to me you brought my food in a bag; I never get that type of service from other drivers! He asked me to wait at the door and came back with a $20 for a tip. Then he asked me a couple of questions about Dashing and I just gave my honest opinions, just as you were talking with the people that had delivered your food in the experiment that you ran. I told him that I view the food delivery service as if I was having food delivered and how would I like it delivered? I told him the same way that I brought your food to you on this delivery, in a bag. To keep it as warm as possible from the store. The gentleman asked me some more questions, we compared screenshots of what I saw compared to what they saw. He said he noticed my high customer approval rating of 4.97 out of 5. So it was pretty interesting to see the other side of the coin when it came to delivering. Along with someone taking an interest in what I did and why I do door dash!

Hi SunShining, I know it will feel odd, but just decline all the $2 orders. First, you're losing money. He probably got upset about the delivery waiting time. Customers don't understand that when a delivery driver is sent multiple customers' order , that delivery drivers cannot choose and pick who gets their delivery orders first. The app determines the order, delivery drivers cannot rush orders because it depends on many factors which will determine how quickly you get your order and when: how busy restaurant is, traffic (any road closed or detour because of road construction 🚧), traffic jams, traffic accidents, when each driver was sent the order and how far restaurant is from where they are stationed at time they accepted the assignment request?! How many drivers are working that day,etc ! Most of times, the wait for customer's order is 10 to 40 minutes. Don't forget how many locations you have to stop at to pick up each customer's order. In food delivery customers don't do alot of tip baiting, you have 1 or 2 in grocery deliveries but not with food delivery. I think customer is upset because he was hungry and was not happy about the wait time. Also because he got his order last. But you can not get mad at delivery drivers because they do their best to get the food to customers by promised time but their are many factors out of their control that can push back the delivery time.

On occasion, I will take someone with me, but most of the time, it's just me. I guess it is just a bad habit that I continue to reference we. Ha. Yeah, there are a lot of bad drivers out there. I had a Chilis order kind of like what you're talking about. A DoorDash driver took my Uber order and delivered it his customer. So, you had two pissed off customers. Chili's offered to remake the order for my customer, which they were happy with, but it took forever. I just feel horrible for the driver that took this order 20 miles, dropped it off, had it reported as not delivered and now he's dealing with app issues.

What video editor do you use and what cameras and all when your delivering ?

@@RenegadeGigHustler I use Powerdirector 365 for the editor. I have a GoPro 9 mounted in the car, and on occasion, I will use my phone mount to record the road as well. On the chest magnet, I use a GoPro 10. Great questions, by the way. Have you ever thought of filming your deliveries?

@@BizEBody I already film my deliveries I have a dash cam mounted in the Jeep and I have a boblov B4K2 police body cam it does everything. I got the new OnePlus 12 phone and I'm getting a slimmer body cam here soon. Thought about the GoPro many times but a little expensive. And around here if you go in a restaurant filming it's not good for you. I use PowerDirector 21.5 and a few other editors and obs studio for lives.
